I flirt with everyone...and I like it to be honest. I don't think it's bad. I find extreme amounts of eye contact, feeling with hands on your body...that's when it's totally flirting and they just want to talk to you.

erm, I've never done the "dating" thing.. the way it goes for me is:

a) You meet someone.

b) You barely notice them at first, or if anything, find them annoying.

c) As you get to know them, you feel like you're on the same wavelength & that you've known each other forever.

d) Over time, an array of feelings falls into place.. You really care about them & want to protect & support them. You become exclusively orientated towards them.

e) You discontinue contact for 5+ years until it subsides.

i think this would happen if i never entered the scene of being exclusive with someone. however i think after a breakup of epic proportions that might be the best course of action anyhow :) thanks for the insight!!!!

Oy, I absolutely know what you mean about the very fine line between joking and flirting. I've misunderstood it many a time :-(

Thinking back over previous dating experiences, I'm actually finding it difficult any specific moments or 'clues' that actually told me we were moving to dating. I do tend to rush things, though. I almost married a guy who I'd only known for a year once!
