does this anime have anything to do with Aria the animation. I saw a vid with president Aria :p

Not really, although you can see at least two references in the show. (President Aria seems to be the mascot to a bowling alley or somesuch in the first episode, and the ending screen of the last episode.) It might be that the creator of Sketchbook is a fan of Aria, or just that both manga was serialized in Mag Garden.

Its because the seasons of Aria (+ OVA) and Sketchbook ~full color'S~ were BOTH animated by Japanese animation production company, Hal Film Maker.

Yeah, that's true, but I'm still curious as to the why, seeing as you can't really take a character (or two) from one show and put it into another unless there's been some agreements set between both parts, what with the issue about licensing rights. (Even between two shows as benign as Aria and Sketchbook.)
