Here's how I can tell that this's worth listening to: The comments are positive and grammatically decent, and if the commentators aren't idiotic, then the song and artist can't be either =)
It's sort of annoying how hard I have to search to find artists as good as this these days. But hey when you do find them it makes it sound that much more sweet :- ]
She is such an incredible artist, especially compared to a lot of the mainstream music now. I actually discovered her music when Pony (Its Okay) was the free iTunes song of the week, but now I can't stop listening to her music. So catchy, so deep, and she's such a good singer. :)
I noticed that the better artists never get any recognition. She got recognition for "Love, Save The Empty", as if it was her only song. Yet these horrid artists are on the radio, so famous. Talking about how they could make our "bed rock", or rapping about egg whites? Wtf.
@Kayllyn453 OMG! i totally agree! all these rapping or pop artists get recognition because they talk about "inappropriate things" that make people feel like they're "So bad" for listening to, while people with REAL talent and actual lyrics that MEAN something and lyrics you can relate to, get no recognition! unfair!
@Kayllyn453 when artists get popular they turn into a fad, when theyre not as popular they have a smaller more dedicated fan group that continue to like there music, i hope she never gets on the radio or hits main stream
@Kayllyn453 ___ i was wondering about the same thing myself. i guess recognition for a lot of people means a whole lot of airplay. the way i see it, stuff like hip hop, with its overtures of babes, hotels rooms, cheating and a whole lot of screwing... is well, what the masses like to hear.
it was then that i realized that songs of such calibre, which do not get played over the radio is quite simply reserved for just a select few who've been fortunate enough to listen to this song. cheers all!
@Kayllyn453 You are BEYOND correct. However, I guess it is safe to say many people enjoy that type of music; it also sets the image for young people nowadays, and corresponds horribly well with the "perfect image". I'd really just prefer songs like this once in a while. :)
@Novasingularity Okay, then my opinion stays as it is. You don't have to agree with me, but for the record, I was referring to the lyrics. And I think that Lloyd is a good singer.
@Kayllyn453 Agreed. I can easily say that Erin is and will remain one of my most favorite artist. I've checked out many if not all of her songs and I've loved every single one of them very much. Usually artists have some crappy songs, but Erin McCarley, she's an exception.

Why can't people post videos anymore instead of still pics with music?
People come to Youtube to see videos!

@jpowell180 I don't think this song has a video. Even if I'm wrong, people come to YouTube to listen to music as well, since it's free.

@Live4TheMoment123 - Just looking at what songs are popular today, it shows how ignorant the world has become. It only gets worse...

@Kayllyn453 Yes, yes, pop culture in general sucks.
I pride myself for being a smart counterculture.

@Kayllyn453 Bed Rock is a great song! <.< Sure they can't sing and the song doesnt really have any good meaning. But it's clever tune.

So very true Kallyn. Finally someone realizes where the (so called) music of the majority of those who are being recognized, is headed.
This song is absolutely lovely, and kind of reminds me of Sara Bareilles (Which is a good thing :P)
