Tyson is moving foward and Tillman is on the defense through out the hole fight. Even without the knockdown in the first round, Tyson should have won.

Unfortunately this happens all the time in amateur boxing, it´s what completely kills the sport. I´ve been on both sides of the fence myself, both winning and loosing when i shouldn´t. Just sad

This is just the learning stages for a fighter. Amatuer fights don't count for much. Leon Spinks never lost an amatuer bout I think and I think George Foreman had 20 and lost 4. It's just the way it goes.

In his prime years (86-88) he was clearly very effective at evading a defensive jab; indeed he had to be, since his size and style required it.

You can't know much about boxing. Tyson is no big dumb gorilla. He is one of the smallest heavy weights of all time, with one of the shortest arms. He relies on speed, skill and quickness to close the distance and throw combinations. Look at his head movement and bobbing and weaving. He's one of the most aggressive and best fighters ever to watch.

Someone like klitschko, or that crazy valuev, or maybe george foreman are much closer to being big dumb gorillas.
