During over 30 years as a pathologist, I have only seen one colleague show disrespect for human remains -- he no longer works. And viewers -- if you are considering suicide -- remember that 99% of people in good physical health who failed serious attempts were glad, 1 year later, that they failed. Peace and health.

Not really. If you are pointing a gun at someone and shoot, the angle of entry would be quite different from when you commit suicide. And if you are found in your home, with a gun in your hand, doors locked, it is pretty clear it is most likely a suicide.
