By the way, this is just a fantastic idea. Many games on the iPhone are great just using "touch and tilt", but many games would be better (and not just old emulator games) with buttons. Having to touch the screen also means you have to obscure the screen. You should really be working with Apple on this, otherwise I'm afraid they will crush you before you have a chance to make any money.

or only part of the screen. make virtual buttons and put them on a black BG and use them as "buttons" but then it does leave a lot less to see on the screen b/c where the game is displayed is so small.
