When Apostle Paul also says there is NOTHING good within us so somehow that got turned upside down and now we search within. The bible clearly says we are DEAD from birth due to SIN. So we supposedly have something in us beside the 17 manifestations of the flesh? Really? the bible says we need to DIE DAILY. WHAT happened to the BIBLE PEOPLE---WHAT? WHAT???

@SD1Chargers Have you tried the truly excellent book ,' The reason driven life ' by Robert M Price, which is his reply to Rick Warren. Price's book is probably my favourite book so far. He looks at the wider historical context to the Bible texts, Price is a truth seeker who writes with great wit & good humour , honesty, integrity. He notes that the authors of the Bible often say more than one thing on each topic. Higher criticism of the Bible reveals treasures that apologetics miss.

Works don't get you to heaven. Humans will sin. period. its IN our flesh. Adam and Eve had babies and we inherited the sin. Please do not let the devil constantly make you question your salvation.

The bible makes it clear we ARE saved by Gods grace if we believe in Jesus and repent. We are suppose to have peace in that fact!

Look at the people from the bible that God helped and used. David for example....He was an awful sinner but God loved him! He loves you just as much. F-A-I-T-H

In order to manifest the LIFE (RESURRECTION) of Christ one must DIE TO THE LUSTS OF THE FLESH. People will NOT see the life of Christ in us if we do NOT DIE to SELF.

Rick Warren doesn't preach Christ & Him crucified! Nor does he encourage Christians to DIE TO SELF & SOW TO THE SPIRIT that the LIFE of Christ might be manifest in us! You CANNOT be Christ's Disciple without taking up your CROSS & FOLLOWING after HIM. HENCE my original comment.

I visited your page. Now I understand your combative approach to my simple comment about dying to the flesh (something Rick Warren doesn't teach).

Let me say this...apologetics are useful...but they can cause one to take on a combative attitude, even it isn't warranted. Too much apologetics can also cause one to be slow to listen & *QUICK* to correct ppl about points that they ((never)) made. This is my last visit to this video~
