  • I want to cut my own Vinyl 45's at home with my own labels aswell watched no end of vids on YouTube and been on eBay and Internet looking at homemade and proper record cutting machines trying to find how much you by them for and if they can be used as domestically as a record player itself. What would a new or second hand one fetch?

At this time, I need specific parts as the DC gear box motor for the motion of the cutter head and other parts for the turntable. Possibly, I will need to improve the HDD cutter head mechanism! I suggest you to see the "Tour Of The Shop LHUPATECH Feat. The Inkjet Printer Record Cutting Lathe" released this summer!...

Thanks again for your interest, Stay tuned!

Thank you for your interest in my project! Actually, the project is an experiment with a HDD transformed in a cutter head and an old inkjet printer used as turntable and lathe. The HDD arm is used as a voice coil (like HDD speaker as you know)! The sound come trough the 1/8 headphone jack on the side of the HDD to go to the coil and make the arm producing mechanical energy enough to convert the sound to energy in order to produce the groove on the CDRecord.
