  • Back then, people knew how to make good music!

  • Her voice is superior in this version throughout, I think. But thanks for your opinion!

  • I agree that the last note is unbelievable! However, I still think the album version is superior. For one thing, Shirley's voice sounds superior in that version, with the exception of the final note, which is truly mind-blowing!

  • Wow... I loved this version. She did hold that last note much longer and sounded fantastic. Thanks for the upload.

  • Thanks...very cool...I think this appears on only one CD compilation, "Goldsinger," now out-of print, but available used.

  • @nyctc7 also on the EMI columbia singles

  • Wow, I've never heard this version!!! Thanks so much for posting it.

  • Yeah if the quality would be better then for sure.

    Nice upload

  • fantastic!!!!

is it me or is this much better than the actual movie soundtrack?

  • It doesn't necessary replace the original. It compliments it. Sure, the original is more fierce and classic than this one, but this one is smoother and more natural with the vocals and saves the major hit until the end - Dame Shirley held that last note all the way through!
