This indeed is the fastest ride at Disney World. If you're lucky enough to get a seat in the front, the conductor (more often that not) will let you 'drive' the monorail. Arguably one of the highlights of my life =)
Actually I think that Test track is faster, if I remember correctly the monorail is only run at 40 mph but has a top speed of 55. But I could be wrong.
ahahha por favor montangas en sialijados de las puertas....gracias (idk how its spelled but my entire family knows it =]) next junnnne baby 11th time cant waitttt
they don't allow you to sit in the front anymore luckily i have done it twice.

This was a nice video, but I'm surprised the monorail didn't go any faster than the bus on the road.

I was thinking that myself but remember we were told that the train goes at 35mph so i would assume the bus would go faster
NotoriousCoaster 4 years ago
they told us (on the recorded message as you ride) that it goes 40 mph, which is just a nice pace to be able to watch the sites along the way.

I was wondering that the same but when i was there i found out that the monorail goes 35mph.
So the bus would travel a bit faster probably
NotoriousCoaster 4 years ago

When you go in the front, at the end of the ride, you get a card or a pin

Are you being sarcastic or you being serious about being the fastest ride? =]

Test Track goes up to 65 mph I believe.

well where the train is it should be going about 35 mph right there, but the shakey-ness of the curves can make it seem like its going a lot faster.

Jack Wagner's voice is still used for the "Please stand clear..." spiel.
stephenb407 4 years ago
Yeah he is. His voice had such a rich timbre to it. And for years his voice was associated with Disneyland and Walt Disney World
echoscot 4 years ago
No the old narrator was Jack Wagner, he was the VOICE of Walt Disney World when it first opened. Nearly every prerecorded spiel voice was his.

I like the new monorail narator better than the old one.
