He also admitted that 16 million gallons of raw horse blood was left in a retaining pond upstream from the Qu'Appelle River.

horsekiller, there are numerous videos(even besides the ones on youtube)showing the horrible way these horses are slaughtered. People have found 4 out of 5 of the horses had no bullet wound in there head at all. Also, the workers there many times don't put the bullet in the right part of the horses head so it does not kill the horse, it will only become immobile then they continue to hang the horse up by one leg, then slit its throat. This is the only thing that makes me ashamed to be canadian.

Slaughterhouses are still being allowed to operate in Canada&Mexico. They are polluting Canadian rivers. Water from Canada's rivers eventually ends up in my country, the US. Water doesn't flow up from Mexico into US rivers, therefore; polution of Canada's rivers affects me more.

For the record-I will boycot products from Canada, Mexico, Belgium&Japan until horse slaughter stops.

The entire horse slaughter industry fosters cruelty-- providing abusers a place to dump their "unwanted" horses.
