  • This could bring family dinner back to the table. :P

  • What is the lowest price you can pay for an RGB LED?

  • @mentebizarra Go to ebay, and search for "8x8 LED board" Have fun!

  • ravers are gonna be happy on this thing

  • First when i wanted to read this i though "Justin Bieber" i was closing this Video

  • Omg how many months did it take u to do that ?!

  • for example u can play ping pong or stuff like this on it, i mean using as a display? i don't know a thing about...

  • oops i at on it :/

  • Too high exposure time while recording. But looks great your LED plane.

  • I like LEDs :)

  • Lol at the highest rated "costs more than $3800". Well I don't think so. :) Nobodys that stupid. You could DIY that quite cheap. I think I could do that for selling it under 500 easily. But like sparkfun said it would take for-ev-er to DIY it :)

  • gostaria de um orçamento para 10 metros quadrados pode ser

  • nice LED on the table,,,

try tetris game on this LED table and fun to play

  • OMG how long did you work on this?

So many LEDs - wonderfull :)

  • @Spacemarine1976 for-ev-er

  • damn.

  • Fun fact : at $60 per 8x8 matrix, this table costs more than $3800.

  • I don't think hes using matrices at all, those commercial 8x8 matrices are ridiculously expensive.

  • @cafeconpizza Funny enough in Sri Lanka where I'm living right now. It's the otherway around. To buy LEDs and create a 8x8 matrix costs almost double the price of a standalone 8x8 matrix.

  • no and 8x8 matrix is about 20$ each.

  • WRONG. you can get 100 RGB LEDs for around $10. say another $10-15 for processors, transistors, logic switchers or whatever else may be used (I don't know how this thing is designed so I can merely spectulate) and you're at $20-25. MAYBE. Still not cheap, but more like $1200 give or take a couple hundo.

  • @cypher1313 + lots of time

  • @twilight1138 But who pays 60$ for just single matrix? You can find much much lower priced matrixes. 60$ is just plain rip-off.

  • @ketse89 Sure, but I was talking about this particular table, which uses the humorously priced Sparkfun modules.

  • @twilight1138 Yeah, Sparkfun must be making fortunes, because the popularity of Arduino. Almost everybody has today mcu board, even if they don't know nothing about electronics. I think they are the only ones buying those overpriced modules, but there are lot of them...

  • @twilight1138 Funner fact: You can make your own matrix for less :D

  • @twilight1138 Where the hell are you buying you matrices? I can get one for less than 10 bucks

  • @twilight1138 Lot Of 10 - 8x8 Rgb Full Color Led Matrix

    $99.00 - eBay

That's probably cheaper than 2 years ago tho.

  • NEed a touch screen on top too. NICE!
