As a kid, I was very shy and had a tendency to stutter. I was the frequent target of bullies, ridicule, cruel practical jokes, and worse. I can personally identify with the song and with this video.

@JoyfulPerspective I completely understand being that target, as I was, too. Not even aware that I was a "musician" I had no direction as a young child - I could sing, but that meant nothing in grade school. I was very poor and had no interest in sports and playground games. I WAS that kid on the playground, and inevitably, I was ALWAYS chosen last. It hurts. It's one I identify with strongly, too! Thanks for your comment.  :~D
