  • i can truly say that this setup is absolutely flawless. most of the time i can find something that isnt right or something that needs to be changed; not this one, very nice speakers all the way around and epic voice haha... nice job

  • YO ADRIAAAAAANNNNN!!!!!!!!!!! lol Sweet ass setup. Yours is classy.

  • I would put some more distance between the components. If you want your stuff to be safe like you said, I would try to keep all that gear cool. You should put some shelves in there, perhaps some cooling fans?

  • I had to turn the volume off.. I can't stand that damn accent.

  • Darth Vadar shows us his living room :P

  • @lestat34208 Yesss!!!!! I am your Fathaaahhhhh!!! lol

  • Barry White voice xD

  • One of the best set ups i've seen on here, dude! Klipsch fo sho!!! Ya, I just set my system up and am rocking the Klipsch... Killer sound... Anyway, Props!

  • k mouse

  • I like the idea of having all the goodies stashed away in the little cubby hole so no one spills beer over anything, i think i'll be doing this now, and when i think of the space i'll get back by removing the furniture to its a no brainer.

(just need to get a decent system to tie it all in, so any hints for 2010 tech?)

Nothing thats way out in your face show off style, i like nice and sleek plain style, the kind of system thats discreet and just loud enough so as not to blow out your eardrums

  • well organized... i been dreaming of having that logitech remote...nice video

  • Steroids......

  • Ahh take that thing off ur receiver, Onkyo's run hot!

  • @murder00redrum true. Latest ones have a fan in them though which is good (so long as they don't break off their mounting (like mine did (?)))

  • how can you push an IR signal trough a wall?

  • @CDA441 either

    a) he has a remote IR receptor installed at the front of the room (looks kinda like a tadpole with the wire being the tail)

    or

    b) he has an RF remote control system connected to an IR blaster in the tape room.

  • what do you for living?

  • You related to Alonzo Bodden?

  • PS3 give you Yello Light of Death yet?

  • Damn dude that's a good setup you got there! I am upgrading, pretty soon I'll have a sweet setup like this too. HTPC, 5.1 Polk Audio setup, but no room in the budget for a Logitech Harmony remote.

  • fiyah setup homie

  • Hope I can do this type of setup very soon. Awesome man. Purely Awesome!

  • Beautiful setup man, Too bad you cant really see the speakers cause its too dark. But great job man. I have that same logitech harmony remote and its picky for certain brands when u wanna setup it up. Still haven't gotten it to work 100%

  • Luck... I am your father.

  • @americaneagle791 Its "Luke"

  • @GreenArrow1616 Oh yeah... woops :S

  • DARKMASTER VOICE JAJAJAJJAJAJA NICE LIVING ROOM

  • I dont know if you can see the cursa, maybe if i go a lil closa YEAH ! hes a rapper.

  • i have cable with dvr from comcast really cool i love it and i have my computer connected to my tv via HDMI.

  • nice!

  • This guy lends his voice on horror films.

  • nice set-up...but do you have to get up to switch games when you play your 360 or PS3?

  • @jlambvo But it can only do this if your receiver has true HD decoders. So basically the PS3 sends as uncompressed audio to the AV receiver,if the AV receiver has an integrated decoder it can't be used instead of the PS3's decoder

  • You own a power plant too? LoLz

  • @MakeLuvNotKids no my blu ray player is the Oppo BDP-83. I've made some changes since I shot his video (added a projector/screen, dedicated amp, etc). Check out some of my newer videos.

  • @MakeLuvNotKids Yes it does; the PS3 decodes TrueHD and DTS-MA to multichannel PCM and sends that out over HDMI. This is analogous to unzipping a compressed folder--all three are identical to the original source. PCM just takes up more space, TrueHD and DTS-MA are essentially storage formats.

Over optical or analog stereo, it downmixes to 2-channel.

  • @MakeLuvNotKids Yes the PS3 does support Dolby True HD AND DTS HD Master Audio, both through Bitstream and Linear PCM. However the PS3 did not always support Bitstream Dolby and DTS HD formats, brought recently through an update over PSN.

  • @MakeLuvNotKids

Actually, both the fat and slim ps3 with decode TrueHD and DTSMA internally, and send them out via LPCM, like a blu-ray player would. That is how these codecs were originally designed to function. All you need, is a receiver that accepts LPCM hdmi audio. Only later in the game, did receivers start decoding STREAMING audio, which only the slim can do. With either PS3, you can enjoy the new codecs.

  • @MakeLuvNotKids If I'm not mistaken, it's supported after firmware updates.

  • @MakeLuvNotKids you dont know what you talking about ps3 does support true hd and dts it just dont bitstream it sends it thru pcm if you have the ps3 set to pcm instead of bitstream and when your playing a blu ray go to ps3 menu and hit display and you will see at the top of the screen on it says true hd or mts audio which is high def audio

  • im about to move this summer man i wish i could hide my component like but it's going to be in the basement i really cant hide my component behind the brick wall

  • no wonder u call or people call u beast. voice.

  • Sick those components are too beautiful to keep hidden away at first, but then you showed how clean the setup looked and i shut up. harmony 1000 is a hell of a gadget that shit is tight

  • sick man

  • not bad!

  • Lil wayne got nothing on you're voice :) Also that setup is so amazing man you got cash hanging out your ass.

  • truly badass living room nice lighting sets the mood ill bet its nice to come home to this

  • nice setup dude. but you need a better shelf for all that expensive goodies. 8.5/10

  • Klipsch RF7's very good choice for mains or even LCR in a HT setup.

I use RF7's front and back with the RC7 center, with a load of TC Sounds subs. These kick, RF7's pack a punch.

  • Very nice setup! I need that mouse for my setup.

  • you sound alot like Rocky

  • come a little closer.. look at the cursor.. mmmm... now give me your wallet!

  • haha :)

  • 52"?? Mmmm!!

  • isnt it annyoying to run back and forth to change game disks?

  • i bet bought all of that and more with just this like "Luke i am your father"

  • its powerful?

  • DANG, i hear DARTH VADER!XD very nice set-up anyway.haha

  • 5 stars for epic voice.

  • nice!!!!!!!

  • How do you play games on it?Signal from controller points at your screen but the 360 is in a stand behind a closed door, how do you use the controller to play games like that? Are there "boosters" you can buy, or it goes through your walls and performance of controller doesnt suffer or lag? Are they wired? I would love to put my 360 in another room and still play games....

  • Hi

I have my 360 in another room becouse my amps are loud (fan noise) and everything is rack mounted including my xbox and there is no lag what so ever so if you want to put your 360 in another room knock yourself out! and if your tv supports hdmi you can buy a module that goes from hdmi to cat 5 back to hdmi over 50 meters whithout any signel loss (becouse hdmi is basicley cat 5)

  • @blackraidon Except it only goes far if you use 720p.

  • the signal can go threw walls....

  • Nice system and setup. I too want a Panamax but was wondering how the Harmony 1100 works when you have everything connected to the Panamax? Is the AV receiver connected to the 12v trigger of the Panamax, which in-turn makes all the outlets on the Panamax come on? Does the Harmony 1100 also control the Panamax? I couldn't find on the Harmony website if the Panamax was compatible.

  • ...few things wrong.

    1. Speakers are way too big for that room.

    2. Speaker placement is wrong. (right main is right against the wall in a corner = bad reflections)

    3. No sub?

  • I would keep all the stuff where it's visable.

It just makes the room look kooler.

  • I have the same PC as yours... HEHE

  • DAMN AT THE VOICE , MY WIFE HEARD YOU AND SAID ( DAMN SEXYYYYY ) lol

  • Your voice is even more beastly.

  • LOL, that`s what I said. XD

  • Brolic -

NICE!. I started with Klipsch 10 yrs ago; have since owned (KSF, KLF-20, RB 15 - RF 83. Was a time when I sold out for paradigm--very accurate, but once a Klipsch fan; hard to leave. Sold the digms-am back with Klipsch. I share my story because you alluded to def-techs; if you like them, awesome, I just know a lot of people who have done the circle of Klipsch and came back; the forum support, company history, etc. is unique. Great set-up; you have encouraged me to start saving

    -Peace

  • Nice setup! nice voice too :D

  • tight setup

  • I like your style, this is like mine accept ive got Polk instead of Klipsch

  • good stuff man hoping to do something like this in my room

  • Thats HOT

  • Great set up dude! Check mine out..

  • Your speakers is way to close to the wall. Give them at least a meter if your living room can afford it. =)

  • nice setup

  • wow, you have a scary voice.

  • haha good call man. yeah his got a really "deep" voice =P

  • If your reciever does not connect to your PC through USB, then you might consider a soundcard for your PC. Creative Labs make aweomse soundcards.

  • Very nice! Those klipsch speakers are awesome. Your computer looks like it is not able to breathe with it stuffed in there sideways like that. =D Very interesting about that logitech controllers. Cool video!

  • thats a really awsome setup dude, nice not having wires everywhere!!!

  • holy hell that very nice

but a litle expensive for me

    not for long though xD

  • dude has the latest tech stuff. "I wanna be like you when I grow up" lol

  • nice setup really cool only thing i have to ask is what the hell do you do this stuff looks like a lot of money?.

  • you sound like vin diesel.

  • its a accent, alot people have them if u do out side lol

  • this is the flyest shit i have ever seen , elegant classy and clean no wires.. but the technology is bananaz.....you hav inspired my set up....tru stunting 101

  • Thanks vixen, I appreciate the compliment!! What kind of setup are you looking to put together? Queenz, stand up!! That's my home borough right there!!

  • Oh no doubt I'm from Jamaica - Hollis that is...what ever you suggest, I just would love to build around a 50 - 60 inch flat screen, researched Panasonic as one of the best, gearing towards a plasma. Not informed on speakers. I am a gamer as well and I love movies so what would you suggest. I hate wires showing

  • how much is the logitch touch thing ???

and y do u pack ur xbox 360 and ps3 togeather

    HEAT MAN !!!

  • This is just my opinion, so I am not being rude :) My problem with Klipsch is that there speakers are not to great with music, fine with movies, just a bit lumpy with music, they are not quite dynamic enough. Goes for the same with Onkyo, great value, great power, ton of features, just bad with music. Overall though your system is great. My system is almost the same, apart from the speakers and amp, I have Rotel amp, with B&W 683 and B&W PV1!

  • yeah, I agree. My dads house has a Pioneer from like 20 years ago, but it plays Movies, TV shows, and Music perfectly!

  • Awesome, if only I had the money.

  • that is the compaq pc i have got too

  • Niiiice! i got it a while ago..06, but upgraded the GPU to a 9800GT and gave it 3Gb RAM.

  • That is a badass setup. I'm going to go buy that Harmony remote right now. Thanks for the info on that remote I always wondered about that remote.

  • Yes, please buy and enjoy. The Harmony Remote series has changed the way i interact with devices. I started with the one they made for the 360 back in 06...and upgraded to the 720...then the 890....and now the 1100. They're all great remotes.

  • How do you change a channel on the TV when the sensor to the cable box is in the closet?

  • On the top shelf of the a/v rack to the left of the receiver you see a small black half-oval shaped device. That's the Logitech Harmony RF receiver for the Logitech Harmony 1100 remote. The remove sends the RF signals through walls, doors, etc. And that small black device translates the signal to IR so all the devices can receive their signals.

  • This guy is the shit.

  • why thank you......i'm trying to upgrade the speakers soon...them Def Tech ST's are looking mighty nice :-)

  • Most anything Definitive Technology makes is golden. You will never regret it.

How much money do you have to spend on speakers? I would get the BP7000s if you can. They are $3,000 each, but well worth it.

Check out my video of my Definitive Technology Speakers... I am literally the ONLY person on YouTube that has a video of Definitive Technology speakers... Which seems odd, lol

  • hay buddy your system is smokin hot..

that tv is sick and so are your speakers

    ..check my shit bro..

    ''

but ther will be a new video soon man.

  • I think that is the 1100 model the 1100 is the black harmony the 1000 model is the silver harmony. I could be wrong though they may have brough out the black version of the 1000

  • Yeah, it is the 1100. i put the 1100 in the description right after i posted the vid, i'm not sure why i said 1000...i sold the old 1000 model a few months ago, that could be why.

  • Oops I did not noticed it in description :/ Its awesome setup though :D

  • WOW what an amazing setup that must have cost alot of money. Btw i was thinking of buying some new speakers what are Klipsch like for quality and audio reproduction

  • The Klipsch's are amazing for audio reproduction. These particular models are the RF-82's and have two 8-inch woofers in each tower. the center speaker has two 6-inch Woofers flanking the horn-loaded tweeter. They sound stunning, which is the main reason why i haven't bought newer sleeker looking speakers.

  • buntch of show off's.lol i have big t.v look in 1 year all that shit is gonna be junk.. make review videos, not look what i got videos..geez people these days..

  • It's alright, I guess. But, there are some major flaws.

1 - Your TV is WAY too small for your speaker system.

2 - Your center channel needs to be as close to the screen as possible. It's WAY too low. Remember, the center channel is the most important speaker in home theater.

3 - Rear speakers should be at ear level while standing up.

Other than that, not too bad. But, needs much work.

  • i appreciate the advice, but::

    1. Speaker size and tv size are NOT correlated.

    2. These Klipsch speakers have horn-loaded tweeters, which provide more vertical dispersion than traditional dome tweeters.

    3. Huh? The tweeters for the surround towers are just above the ear level when seated, where they belong. Surrounds are to be positioned slightly behind and above the listening ear level.

i definitely agree, this setup is NOT perfect. (what sub-50k setup is?) but, it works..until upgrade time

  • Well, my sub 50k setup is perfect... Sooo... Now what? lol

And you're wrong, speaker size/output and screen size ARE correlated. It's like having a 25" TV and $100,000 in audio. Or, a massive HDTV and a Bose system, or shitty HTIB. They need to BLEND and work well with eachother. Where one doesn't overpower the other. Understand?

Also, it's a THX fact that rears should be at ear level STANDING UP.

  • Ummm, if you mean your projector setup.....i hate to break it to you, but...it's not perfect either.

Yeah, if i had a 32" crap tv on the wall against those big speakers, i'd agree with you, but that's not the case.-- it's a 52" 1080p tv...and the speakers are extremely powerful...neither of them are overpowering the other.

THX positioning is for THX rated items. Even so, they say 1-2 feet above listener. Mine are 1.

  • My system wasn't 100% in my latest video. That was actually in my apartment. I lived there while my house was being built. I have an 140" custom screen now.

So, with me FINALLY having a screen, everything is complete.

Dude, just lose your cheap, Best Buy speakers. Come on, you can do better than that!

  • I bet thats extremely loud!

  • Yeah...it gets extremely loud. There's nothing better than watching guests' faces when i put on a movie.

  • Thanks man. That setup has been a constant evolvement....but the movie/console gaming experience is amazing. Those speakers have me criticizing the speakers at the local cinema. lol.
