The meetup sounded like it was a great time! I'll stay tuned for future meetups later in the year. Jan, I will have had my 3rd baby. I'm trying to figure out if it will be easier to continue transitioning while at the hospital, or to do the big chop with 3-4 inches of new growth? I'll be recovering from a c-section. Any suggestions? Happy Thanksgiving!

Pumpkin, I had a very nice time; I enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing hair ideas. And I really enjoyed the mixed tacos and the sweet potato pie was awesome! And Dana took some great pics.

I plan on January. Most people are busy during the holiday season. I'd prefer to allow the busy times to slow down. I'll take a tally and see if there's a good response though for early Jan. :)

I'm not sure if anyone knows the science behind it. Like most things, it's probably more of a symbol and mentally a reminder to try and think more on the good natured, positive side rather than the negative. It's been used since the beginning in Native American ceremonial practices. It's suppose to clear out negative energy , negative spirits, and impurities. I've always been interested in Native American practices and I feel like the scent of sage (like lavender) is calming to the soul :)
