How do you reconcile 'natural evil' with faith in God?

i imagine a mother of three developing fatal breast cancer. but god says: "You know, that's part of the package deal"... seriously, i don't think there is any satisfactory solution to the problem of theodicy. even Epicurus knew that. that's the major reason why i consider myself an atheist today.

If you a Christian, then why did you just call God and the bible a liar?
