HBO want them back for a third season - they're 'ready to go if the boys are ready to go'.  We'll all have to wait and see.

Some of the episodes this season were kinda stretched thin, but they had some incredible highs too... hopefully they'll take a longer break between seasons this time and come back in 2011 or something, gives them more time to think up some new shiznit!

@booshgrrl Yeah that's usually how it goes down these days, although that wasn't always the case - The Simpsons and Seinfeld really came into their own around their third seasons. In more recent years, the American Office and its spiritual successor, Parks and Rec, received mediocre reviews during the first seasons, then picked up during their sophomore years.

Other than those rarities however, I can't think of anything else lately
