Regardless of poor labeling, types like Sparky just don't like being called to the carpet for being wrong in giving Al credit. I could tell right away that it was neither Al's voice nor something he'd put in his music. He tries to be cleaner than that. And Adam Sandler is raunchier than that. I didn't think Weird Al wrote it. Al never curses or has anything offensive in his songs. That's why I knew of songs like Elmo's Got a Gun, and others aren't his. People create parodies or funny things and others say, "Oh! That's Weird Al!" Not necessarily! He has a certain style, just like every artist. I wrote a parody that I'm not putting on the internet until I can properly record and copyright it.

If you go to weirdal dot com you can see his entire catalog of songs. Every song he's ever written, produced, or been involved with. And if you do a google search of "the not al page" you can find a pretty thorough list of all the songs incorrectly arrributed to Weird Al.

I guess I should also mention you can do a poor man's copyright. Basically make some sort of hard copy, print out what you wrote, put what you recorded on a cd or as a file on a disk, then mail it to yourself. It has a federal stamp that way. Noone can recreate that and get away with it, lol. And yes, Weird Al keeps it generally clean. Some of them do ride the borders though, lol. But that doesn't mean I think MC Sampler's rendition sucks, lol. I actually like it.

I just like people being correct, and just not saying a bunch of crap. I looked up the lyrics and didn't find what you're talking about. The whole song is about Jerry's show cussing, so he probably had censors for effect, and not actual cussing. It isn't a hard effect to do. Just because the person might cuss doesn't mean they like to have it in their music too. He keeps it family clean. Correcting someone with an attitude isn't nice either. Sorry you don't agree.
