  • not lie syrien asshole im lebanese and i recommend this it is the basic of hummus you can also put paprica pulver and that about it

  • i'm syrian and this is definitely not hummus

  • its not beans it chic peas

  • Hummus is great with grilled veggies: Stoplight Peppers & Yellow and Zucchini Squashes. Grilled Eggplant aint bad, either. You can store the peeled, raw eggplant slices in red wine vinegar just before grilling and it'll give'm a smokey flavor. Great to go with hummus, and I even like grilling my pita a little, also.

  • Yea, where's the tahini? Also, where's the list of ingredients? or recipe?

  • @smilesalotbonnie The link to the recipe is at the end of the full description (click Show More)

  • Where's the Tahini? I don't make mine without Tahini.

  • For those that fail at IQ: There is a link up at the end of the description (click show more) to see the recipe which includes the ingredient amounts.

  • I've never been able to find tahini paste. Can it be made from sesame seeds?

  • @jstbarnett

you can find a it in virtually all Middle Eastern grocery stores near you... just search it in google maps and you'll find it...

  • Hummus without tahini (sesame paste) is not hummus!!!

  • You forgot the sesame paste

  • Video does not mention adding TAHINI (sesame paste) which other recipes usually call for. TIP: I also like to add a little cumin and cayenne; just a personal

    preference :))

  • Yeah, it's weird they didn't include amounts, but it's pretty easy to wing it. Just throw stuff in and add more to taste. Gotta add tahini though!

  • Tahini is a must. Use reserved juice from chick peas to thin out and, as stated, put the olive oil on top of finished product.

  • Where is the sesame tahini? Besides the CHICK PEAS that is the main ingredient. Personally I drizzle the Olive Oil over the top once it is in the plate, that is the authentic way to serve it with a little cumin sprinkled on top.

  • Hummus is also great with vegetables as dippers ...cucumber slices, carrot, even romaine lettuce, red bell pepper too!

  • @valnaples So true! Excellent tip!
