  • Drak, your channel was the first I checked when I recovered. Good to know you're back too :)

  • SOPA and PIPA are pretty sure not to pass. ACTA on the other hand...

Megaupload being taken down is a shame, but if you read Ars Technica's article on it the staff did some interesting illegal things and were kind of asking for it.

Good to hear you're back though Drak. I wasn't really following Aftermath but I know it's always hard to abandon a project you worked hard on.

  • Aww man...no more aftermath...T_T

Oh well...I know where you're coming form with the whole post apocalypse deal...I enjoyed it though! By the way I created this account just to subscribe lol

    P.S. the government sucks!

  • Did anyone else think Death Note from the title?

  • @Kakolosque ah..the opening song, yes:)

all that aside, down with SOPA!!!

    ..and pipa.

  • @Kakolosque Me, actually. *Is a huge anime fan, especially fond of Death Note*

  • I did my part on sopa too already, Internet is not just America only, they got piratebay in the Netherlands off the internet by court using sopa as an argument.

Anyway, I haven't been working in rpg maker projects for a long while now, its down to some very serious stuff, I'm creating a Platformer from scratch together with forsakethis' music.

    Glad ur still alive friend.

  • You should use Cryengine 3 to make games...

  • Glad to hear from you again. I hope to god SOPA does not pass. I don't want to miss seeing the reaction of exploding treasure chests or other odd game overs.

  • Wut did you cancel Aftermath D:??????? :c

  • Glad to hear you're back.

But, I think hanging back is not the proper thing to do. Writing congressmen, protesting, donating money to free-speech organizations. These are the things to do when the government seeks to squelch your voice at the command of people who buy congress. We cannot give up without fighting. Waiting is like prayer. It does nothing.

  • @ConservativeCat

I already signed my stuff. I am fully aware of it and against it. This video was to say hi mainly.

  • @Drakiyth777

Good to know. sorry, it sounded like you were advocating doing nothing.

  • Eh, Drak. Good to hear from you i wasnt sure what was up. I still cant believe they took down megaupload -:o. As for RPG Maker, if you're going to make another, i would love to see you make a serious comedy game since you're one of da funniest mafuckas i know

  • @reido66

Thanks, Riedo. Glad you're doing good bro.

  • Just thought I'd throw this out here, but it would be naive to think that sites like Megaupload don't log the IP addresses of people who upload files to their service. Now that Megaupload's computers are in the hands of the feds, ALOT of people are going to be royally fucked, which sadly includes you Draykiyth since you mentioned that you used it. Am I the only one who actually realized this?

  • @RicePigeon

The truth is the site was around for years and anybody could upload files of any kind to it. All files uploaded to it don't mean it's pirated warez. If I uploaded some movie I recorded with a camera at a theater or full version game I hacked (which I never would and haven't) than I could see your point. Uploading Asiyla isn't a pirated game. I bought RPG MAKER XP and I used a lot of my own work i made for it.

  • Hey there Drak! It's good to know that you're back! (wow that actually rhymed)

I'll be looking forward to whatever that comes ifrom you in the future, crappy game review or not! ...Oh, and don't let that last game you reviewed get to you.

  • *Sorry, I meant megakidicarus' game, not the airship one

  • @PROGUY101

Thanks dude. Hopefully shit blows over and the people win this one.

  • Haha... I'm somewhat nervous to post... It's nice to see you again Drakiyth. I've been worried that something bad was really going on.

  • Drakiyth, please make a video about SOPA. It's a big storming issue.

  • @DragovainLord

Write your congressman. Just oppose SOPA with everything you have to oppose it with. I don't need to make a video about it. There are thousands of them right now you can watch.

  • 3:17 ain't no getting off the train i,m on now. i can't really quit all the internet things i started.

  • @MegaKidicarus

Wasn't on a train of crime in the first place, bro. I just wanted to make folks laugh and have a fun hobby making harmless indi games.

  • @MegaKidicarus what i actually was hinting at is i am doing stuff at the moment that is fair use but not sopa proof (if it passes which it probably won't) that are part of my life that can't be stopped.

  • Hey Drak, its Dylan, sad about Aftermath =( Dont worry much about SOPA or PIPA, it wont pass and if it does the shit is gonna hit the fan

  • @LeAmericain

Thanks for all the support, Dylan. I don't take anything for granted but the good thing is Obama opposed it and hollywood is pissed at him now. Good for him to stand up like that.

  • @Drakiyth777 Finally he stands up for something lol but anyway, its np and on a semi-related note to the video, can you reupload Asiyla somewhere? Oh yeah if you ever get around to making another game, I would be happy to do the LP =3

  • It's been a while since I heard of you Drakiyth. This whole internet war is really concerning me also.

  • god damn it, they do realize people used megaupload for more then piracy, theres probably more piracy here on youtube

  • @jsh020

Exactly. I think the word "Piracy" is way over-used when file sharing between family friends is the same thing as letting somebody borrow something. Hell, you bought the damn thing. Who is to say you can't share it with somebody? Now if you didn't buy it and you're trying to make money on it than I can see that being a criminal act. It's also called Fencing.

  • @Drakiyth777 that is to true, i mean piracy actually helps people more then they give it credit

liek look at this low budget anime called tiger and bunny, yah with a name like that no one would give it a chance, hell i didnt either, but because it was free to try it ended up becoming the 2nd biggest show of 2011 bringing in millions with a very dedicatted and large fanbase

this would have never happened if people didnt pirate it

its simple, make good things and it will sell. even with piracy

  • Shit!

  • @Theoneandnotonly

    Indeed.
