Yeah, Dan Abrams is wonderful!! He was the GM of a network that no one watches and MSNBC is the 26th rated cable news network. If he was so great, why did they replace him as the GM? Because he is terrible!! And just because he has conservatives on doesn't mean that he is fair to them. Zacarias Moussaoui is the only person to be charged with crimes related to September 11. He pled guilty to involvement in the plot. We have been told that if the FBI had authorized a search of Moussaoui's computer, seized a month before the attacks, we would have been able to prevent the attacks. Agreed! Wire tapping is an outsatnding, law enforcement/intel gathering tool. All I'm saying/typing is that it should be done in accordance with the law. The FISA act of 1978 provides for 72 hours of wire tapping before a warrent needs to be issued. In over 1500 FISA cases, I believe less than 5 warrents under these provisions have ever been denied. Under FISA, the FBI could have LEAGALLY searched Moussaoui's computer.
