  • old school zombie film=ftw

  • 0:39 it's the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal :D

so that's where developers got it from

  • Yet another great role for Louis Mahoney !

  • Why is there always a fire in Hammer movies?

  • @Morgethein I think you're right, actually. Greek, mesopotamians, same smell.

  • where can i watch this film?can somebody send me a link?

  • Is this about Obama supporters?

  • Just to inform, there were plenty of zombie movies out there before 'Night Of The Living Dead'.

There was this one, Val Lewton's 'I Walked With A Zombie' and 'Revenge Of The Zombies' starring John Carradine to name but a few.

However. those movies were mainly about the voodoo, and reanimating corpses to do the bidding of a high priest of some kind.

Romero was the first person to give them a taste for human flesh.

  • nice job.! will watch this in webmovietube

  • This is one of my Hammer favorites!

  • can't believe ive never heard of this

  • The Hammer productions sure had very sexy leading ladies, such as Ursula Andress, Martine Beswick, Caroline Munro, Ingrid Pitt, and Rachel Welch.

  • If we're talking about the first zombie story, in ancient greek mythology, there was this queen of the dead who led an army of dead soldiers that fed on the living.

  • nice!:)

  • Those zombies had better brush their teeth more often

  • ciekawe czy fajny jest:D:D

  • Diane Clare was a fine British actress of the 60s, who was particularly adept at accents (English in 'Whistle Down The Wind' - Welsh in 'Go To Blazes' and American in 'The Haunting') She was more notable for turning 'bit parts' into show-stealers and memorable performances. (Carrie Fredericks in 'The Haunting - original movie from 1963) A very talented lady.

  • Great movie! This is the only zombie movie ever made by Hammer Films. I think its unique because of the mixture of gothic Victorian era, with voodoo zombies. Andre Morell was awesome! Hammer films released the best horror flicks and lots of them.

  • All seems a bit grand for Cornwall.

  • These guys don't nom their victims. I wouldn't want to be a zombie if I couldn't nom people.

  • A great hammer from 66 filmed back to back with The Reptile

  • I love Hammer but I still haven't seen this. I could order the dvd of course. Any idea where I can pay for and legally download this? Looks great.

  • This is without doubt the best Hammer horror ever made, my favourite anyway. 5/5

  • and it looks that they dont eat their victims.. and that sucks! this is just vodoo.... night of the living dead thei ate the victims:D

  • oen thing i must say,.... this wasnt the film that launched more zombie films... it was the night of the living dead that launched the zombie genre.. and everybody says it romero that created the genre too.... i dont think nobody knew of this movie on that time...

  • cool. love zombie movies love hammer films. 2for price of one. got to add to my colection. allways thought NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD was the first.isnt the internet fantastic.

  • I think White Zombie starring Bela Lugosi was the first zombie movie ever. It's not the end all when it comes to zombie movies, but it's still pretty rad.

  • I've seen this film about three times over the years...one of Hammer's best, a good eerie zombie film with some appealing social subtext for those that want it, and the dream sequence is superb.

  • in this film do th zombies eat their victims?

  • This movie looks good.

  • Oh this is "Plague Of The Zombies" right?

    5/5

  • 100 % right! ^-^
