wow is this Lisa Gerrard's voice? man i didnt know she was australian lol, wow the song is so powerful, every really good moive comes with a powerful song, ie titanic etc. Gladiator was an epic movie and this is an epic song!

So much emotion. The first film which made me cry. The balance between music and words was perfect. Everything tied in well. Many scenes has poetic meanings. For example at the begining of the film Maximus putting his hand through the field of corn. To only do the same at the end. Why? Because the director wanted the hero to be dead at the start. And the sense that the hero has a mortal status attatched to him.
