Nope it was his decision plain and simple to NOT want to get help when Vinnie and Dime reached out to him. He is and was a cocky DICKHEAD, it was his choice to quit. Every article says that Vinnie and Dime(mostly) became really depressed because they knew he wasn't coming back. Also look at how much influence Phil has on the brainwashed fucks out there, they worship him. Dimebag-Pantera=Stadium=Nevershot..Dimebag-Damageplan=Small Club=Nathan Gale=Murdered on Stage. Too bad you didn't give a shit about Pantera back whenever Dime was still alive. You might have prevented his death because he wouldn't have been playing in pisshole dump bars. All of us are without him because of you. And he was FAR more important to music than you could ever hope to be.

After all that happened, I think Dime would still forgive Phil for what happened. And I'm not talking about Dime getting shot, because realistically, that is not Phil's fault, and it's a goddamn shame that Vinnie can't see that. I'm talking about the breakup, and all the fights that probably accompanied it. They were like brother's, all of them. And they will eventually forgive each other, or carry out the remainder of their lives missing a piece of themselves that they left in each other.

I met Phil on that Wratchchild America tour (WA would change their name to Souls At Zero a few years later). Can't say it was a good experience meeting him but love Pantera. Anyway, good to see that Phil seems to be off the junk.
