Beautiful kalam of moulana Rome (RTA).

I would like to humbly request ShaikhulIslam to sit all the way in the back if he sits on a chair due to his medical condition, also the others who could sit on the ground must do so for the respect of Sama. May be they need to learn the etiquettes. or they are unaware of Peeran-e-chisht and their etiquettes of listening to sama.

firstly you requested in a nice way which i liked however shaykh is a qadri nt chisti and so for sama diff tareeks hav diff ways but dey ar all right.... also de mehfil is constructed in a square formation with the readers on one side and shaykh on the other side while audience is on the other two sides..... so i don't really think shaykh needs to sit at the back.

I have lot of respect for Shaykhul Islam, may Allah protect him. I am unworthy to comment on his maqam. But I have been with many sufi shaikhs and i saw the respect they have in Sama. doesnt matter they are qadri or chishtiee, etc. The adab has been mentioned by the great shaikh sayyidina bandanawaz (RTA) in his book rooh-al-tasawwuf. I would strongly recommend to read this. I have seen many video clips where shaykhul Islam is only one sitting on chair and others are sitting down.

Certainly, no further discussion should be made. I respect Shaikh and I recommend people to listento him,where he is faqih, sufi, Muttaqi, Alim, Mufassir, Muhaddith, Mufti, at once. May Allah protect him and give him long life so he can continue pleasing Allah and his Beloved Prophet (SAW).

The only thing we need is proper adab for every place, time, and situation.

@mquadri234 , I remeber a saying of Ishfaq ahmed, when he was saying in Zawia Afamous TV programme, that though the fly (makhee) has 32 eyes proven by biological scientists, yet wht the use of when it sits RUBBISH (gand) I RESPECT UR KNOWLEDGE BUT SORRY TO SAY U SAT ON RUBBISH DUE TO UR NATURE AND U DIDNT SEE THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE MAN WHO IS NO UNIQUE AND PARALLAL.HE IS UNCOMPRABBLE, OR PLZ GUIDE US TO SOME ONE WHO IS AHEAD HIM IN THE EAR , IN THE WORLD TODAY

Imranmakhdum12, May Allah rewrd of u of givin such eg and aply to me. I belong 2 da best creation of Allah, bcaus I m Human being, plus I am the nation of Prophet (AS),& belong to the family of Prophet (SAW). Im not proud on facts, but 2 realize how far you can go to disrspct. I advised Shaikhulislam for such manner, which I have Allah's given right, like Prophet(SAW) took the advice of sahaba, for eg, Sayyidina Salman Farsi etc. I respect shaikh, but sometimes he needs to care for others .

I should not have given the advise to shaikhulislam who talks about loving and respect the Ahlebait but never seen him practicing. Anyway, here the matter was different about he etequete of presenting ourselves in Sama. AS far the ilm of Shaikulislam concerned, certainly he is knowledgeable, but please donot compare and challenge with other scholars who exist. There are millions of righteous who maintain low profile and dont showoff. I admire Allama Tahir's speaches.

I am not jealous of Shaikh ul Islam at all. I just met him in USA, but I was not very impressed with the treatment he presented to us. He is a big scholar and what he did is commendable but we must not exaggerate, like some barelwis and deobandis does for their scholars. Although I respect Alahazrath Imam Ahmad raza, but not like the way new generation is presenting. Samething is also been practiced in minhajulquran. Im not denying his services at all. the matter here is the respcting sama.

Its not trivial when it comes to sama. If some doesnot know respect, according to Sayyidina Nizamuddin Auliya (RTA), he must not b in the mehfil of sama. I c all the respected shuyukh sitting on ground, and Allama Tahir is sitting on chair is totally against the etiquettes of sama. He should read Hazrath Mohammad banda nawaz's book "Rooh-e-Tasawwuf" on sama and its ruling.

If Allama has spinal issues, than he should be sitting back like I see shuyukh of Chishtia and Qadria does.
