whoever thug whateva & anybody else that's talking about washington u need 2 learn stuff about bands. A highschool band that's doing college things (like field shows, music) is a good band. And lets be realistic we dne had 12 tubas or atlease around that number almost 3 years now, and they still can't play! that dnt even sound right. & josh dnt march if he do play cymbels which if u knw him he is very talented on drums wat diffrence would that make in us blowing yall out.

why are the tubas doin all that moving while they play please that wont make you any louder. Dont get me wrong i know if you really are "pushing" then you will move a little because you are pushing from your stomach. Trust me ime not in high school and your sound will travel alot further if you relax and simply play the horn. Ex.redan,millergrove,swd they are prime examples of good tuba sections they play with alot of maturity.

Im not in high school either but plz check that "good tubas" list again. The only school that has good tubas out of those is Miller Grove & last time I checked, the tubas moved because the BAND DIRECTOR told them to. You weren't there so you wouldn't know but you're right about the sound traveling.
