I love that honda ,,,,is the best 2.0 L,, great engine, the nissan has a much bigger engine and still the honda was be able to keep up. 350z curb weight - 3,188 lb s2000 curb weight - 2,864 lb hmm lets do a power to weight ratio and then after that we will consider engine displacement. 240hp 2,864lb = 11.9 306hp 3188lb = 9.5 keep in mind the lower the number the better.. so therefore power to weight 350z wins so no excuse for weight at all.. ok now lets do power per liter.. 2.0 240hp = 120hp per liter 3.5 306hp = 87.4 per liter so hmm s2000 over 350z easy. so s2000 = greatness and great success and 350z=fail, good try though

If you guys are forgetting yes the s2k might only be a 4 cylinder,but its different than most common 4 cylinders. They tuned the F20c and F22c so much they it makes so much power for a 4 banger and s2000 weighing less than 3000lbs then yea. Nissan V6 VQ motor makes alot of power,but don't forget the 350z weigh over 3000lbs. Your looking at power to weight ratio
You all are haters the z had a passenger and it already weighs more than the s and the s is modded and the power to weight ratio is better on the s and the s still couldn't pull when the z hit 5th it was over
@SpetsnazOXB im the owner of the s2000. i do have more mods now and its running a lot better. in this vid i was just exhaust (a restrictive one at that). I have a 3 inch exhaust now, cold air intake, and a header. AND i do admit i wasn't driving the car as well as i am now. I wasn't taking advantage of the "2 flashes"
@Bad1flip No worries man, the only reason I called this video out is because I have an ap2 s2k with exhaust/header and tune and I pull away from most 350z's, and against an 07-08 hr350z I can beat them but I have to be in my "sweet spot".

have you driven a 350z or an s2000? I own an ap2 and my cousin has an 06 Z both manual, all s2k has is the exhaust / intake/ midpipe tune, the Z is full bolt ons. any roll race the S comes out on top, from a dig the Z gets a jump until 30-40 and then I reel it back in.
You have to remember the Z is a 3500lb car and the S is a 2700lb car, now against an 07-08 Z the HR will come out on top from a dig or roll (but it won't be a bus length murder)

@SpetsnazOXB First of all, a full bolt-on 06 Z is easy in the high 12's, and an S2000 with a few mods isn't touching it. Unless his full bolt ons are an intake an spacer...or he can't drive as well as you. Second, S2000 weighs 2800-2900, and a base 06 Z is 3200. Not THAT much difference. I like the hondas, but they are meant more for handling than straightaway acceleration.

With a better driver the s2000 will pull on the Z 0-60 and start crawling away top end
