Unfortunately Issuu Mobile only works on Android phones, no iPhone, no iPad. That's less that 20% of the mobile market.
Mygazines (mygazines . com) works EVERYWHERE at no extra cost: desktops, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android phones. Users just access a dedicated link, the system recognizes the device and loads an optimized version of the publication. Pubs can be distributed through App stores (Apple, Android) too...
Los de Issuu ya anunciaron que no volverán a intentar sacar la aplicación por Appstore, problemas políticos al parecer. Me encantan los productos Apple pero su exclusión y falta de soporte por mera competencia termina por afectar a los usuarios.
Yes indeed, looking for a html5 or non-flash versions of the publications. So when folks go to my website where I have my Issuu publication embedded they can see it without having to download the Issuu App. That is just not going to happen.
OR, let me know what you'd suggest for a non-flash version to view. Do I really just need to make a straight up HTML gallery after all this technology? That would be so 1998.
Please hurry with the iPad app...we use Issuu PRO to publish our company's journals and we are talking about moving elsewhere unless you come up with an iPad app soon.
I can't wait for Apple to approve this - I guess as muscleco says, if Apple don't approve we publishers will have to start publishing on the new ipad competitors and promoting them as a reading device through our publications

I publish a magazine and we have a nice on-line version on Pressmart and an experimental one in Issuu, but it would be great to use my iPad for showing it to advertisers! So come on Apple - help us out here. If I end up getting a damn Android tablet - heaven forbid - it will be your fault.
Be patient, nice things make people want to evaluate every possible angle. Your concept, though perefectable is awesome! How to perfect it? You could probably find out by putting "feelers" out there, go towards making a concensus of your idea. You already have made it wonderful, the packaging is in the works, the delivery is in the works, jumping onto a super distribution channel will definitively benefit - put to read lots of people. Hang in there. It'll happen.
I really hate Apple for blocking your app, guys.

Why not post it to Jailbreak app store. There is heaps of apps available there which hundreds of thousands of users with jail-broken iPhone use.

Sounds like lies.

I think Apple is hesitated to approve this application, due to deal with other bookstore or Apple want to develop with their own.
