live versions are more personal. and it also proves the band is really good. i kinda like that there's not a studio version. makes it more artistic and rocking. and also less pretentious(spelling haha). i think you have to pay the writers or rights people to put covers on albums.

Call me crazy, but am I the only one that (as frustrating as it is) enjoys the live version? Something about the fact that no studio version exists, the muffled lyrics, and the sort of mesmerizing/chilling background noise/tone gives the whole thing a sort of 'forbidden fruit' kind of feel. Almost sends chills down your spine....

Like for example:
