i know its gna be good because of the amount of work they put into the physics and the kill moves of the game. the only reason i still play skyrim is to decapitate as many people as i can since ive finished the quests like twice over. the feeling you get when you blow or chop someones head off in a game is priceless! and with these awesome cinematic finishing moves i can't wait. i just hope they don't make it random chance like in skyrim it should depend on how accurate your aim is :p

Things this game has in common with its predecessors:

-the name

-one song from the original score

-probably bullet time

Okay, don't get me wrong, this game does look pretty awesome. It's pretty, seems like it has decent voice actors, possibly a decent story, and who knows about gameplay. But the noir theme is lost (a bit tricky to do noir in sao paulo), it's a different voice actor for Max, and no comic storyboard intro. So it'll be good, but they might as well just started a new series.

@Wong89138 actually it does, look up IGN's written preview of max payne 3 on their website, the comic intro's are still there but they are more stylized (like inFAMOUS's comic style cutscenes) and they only appear at crucial parts of the story or when max is expressing his feelings...

@Wong89138 James Mccaffrey was voice of Max in Max Payne 1 and 2. And he is voice of Max in Max Payne 3 too. So the voice actor is the same like in previous games. And the graphic novel cut-scenes will indeed make a return in Max Payne 3 with a new, unique spin to turn things up a bit. Ok I will admit this game is alright but still I rather dust off my old max payne games than play this.

I don't care if its an open world game plus I have alot of catching up to do since I've been off PS3 and 360 for years so pretty much new releases, recent games like skyrim and old games like dead rising 2 (well its not old but whatever) plus more games to follow.

GTA5 is of course an open world game but the game trailers look way much better than this one.
