Hi Danny- Thanks for taking the time to post your views on the Water Torture. Houdini was truly an amazing person and a pioneer and adventurer on all accounts. @finalninjazeromaster -Sorry to disappoint you, but you are completely wrong on both accounts and couldn't be further from the truth. In the complete full live presentation the handcuffs are police issued by the local branch, supplied by a police officer there on the day. The lid is completely examined thoroughly before the escape in front of the audience and the padlocks are supplied by a local locksmith which is verified by him at the performance, & locked by independent security guards.
