@Jdwill1014 short answer: no (at least not this performance with 3 screens). the 6850 is 1.5 Teraflops while the 6870 is 2 Teraflops. With 2 screens you will get better performance... with 1 screen you'll get near perfect performance.

I don't use multiple so I wouldn't know exactly how it would perform but I do know that the larger the surface area is that you're playing with, the more noticeable things like screen tearing and framerate lag will be. Remember that no matter how many monitors you use, the card will still be using the same resources to produce that image, so if you're looking for performance I wouldn't go above 2.

@FatEd2012 I know!!!But with both these cards you can NOT achieve high graphics for current gen. games.6790 is the best and is worth every buck.Add a little cash to your budget even if you have to wait for a while.Oh and to answer you question,The 5750 is better than 6750 for current gen. games however in the future the 5750 will wear out and the 6750 will dominate.Thats how it always works :) 5750 has better benchmarks compared to 6750.But for future games 6750 should be the choice.

just letting you know, used computer parts really drop from the new price. 6850s are about 150 dollars, so you would need to sell it about 50-75 dollars if you want it sold. That's if you have all the parts, boxes, guides etc. Also, warranty doesn't carry over to another person, I think xfx is the only brand that it does carry over.

@gothicwod its there on steam forums ,here's what's happening , if u use 3 screens the Field of view will be wrong ( half of the weapon will be in one screen , and the other half is in another one ) and to correct that you either have to change the config file ( which 50% of people tell u its safe ) or use widescreenfixer ( which is surprisingly banned on steam because it changes the dlls and exe of the game )

@shadowwaffl3 I'm afraid you are mistaken. There are 2 DVI ports on a 6870, which I believe is what you are thinking of. But, you are missing that it also has 2 mini-displayport connectors. Therefore, one Radeon HD 6870 can support eyefinity with FOUR monitors/TVs!!! :D

3x1920x1080=5760x3240 that is gonna take a toll on the grafic card, and if you gona use 3D it will bring even more challange to the card.

One big 3D TV, vill give you 1920x1080. like a normal monitor

It is not how big the screen is, that makes it rough for the Grafik card.

It is the resulotion, with one big TV you will not get anymore "space".
