@devilhacker86 resident evil, metroid, okami, mega-man, zelda, metal gear, final fantasy, pokemon, mario are most of the games I've played, yet didn't use that concept, I can't say for novels because I barely read, anime and movies I watched haven't done that either, I've seen the protagonist die in one anime, but not of his choice. this just goes to show that not everybody has the same opinion, I like how macabre P3 is, I just find it more entertaining than the crime-solving concept.
