'Intimacy' is awesome! I'd recommend it to any bloc party fan! Ares and Mercury are very different to the normal style but if you keep an open mind then they're ok i guess. The chorus riff in this is just killer tho, gotta love that radical sound!

check out the b sides for AWITC, they are amazing. they right an awful lot of good music, they just don't always choose the best ones for the album. i do respect there attempts to develop and make a more interesting sound, that's why i like intimacy a lot, but they don't span genres as succesfully as say Radiohead.

Look silent alarm really is the better album. Its more subtle and ambiguous in its lyrics, it's at least 8 times as rockin. And it doesn't start the first track with kele singing in a lame falsetto. that being said i still think AWITC is a good album, just not mind blowing.

Skeleton is the best bloc party song, hands down.

i was as much a fan of A Weekend In The City as the next guy, but it was nothing compared to Silent Alarm... I want more of those Helicopter-esque songs - hopefully this is a return to that.

I found A weekend in the city rather amusing and an overall better album than Silent Alarm. Sunday, The Prayer, Hunting for Witches, I Still Remember are great tunes, the kind of songs you can't easily find on Silent Alarm.

Has any1 noticed most of the songs are almost the same as the Silent alarm songs. Not in a bad way tho. They've changed enough so they're not repetitive but they still all sound familiar.
