you're right, kids' hair is HARD to do; i always get nervous that they're going to make a sudden movement and i'm going to pierce an ear or something. but my question is why that's being called a faux hawk. it looks way more like a classic mohawk to me because there's not enough blending between the steps. i'd just recommend more blending and i'd say it's a solid cut.

(SOME BARBERS KNOW THE FAUX HAWK AS ONLY THE TOP BEING CUT INTO A FAUX HAWK NOT THE BOTTOM) so if thats the case wit ur barber tell him to do it all the way to the back. does that make sense? or u can private message me lol

you cut good but all you need to do is practice on your

clipper over comb you'll be done a lot faster

Hey, Im also getting a fauxhawk before i start summer school and im wondering what i should ask my barber to do for a faux hawk. Should i say " Short Sides and Long top" and if so what should i get for the sides. 2 or 3 ?. Plz reply Because im getting my haircut in 4 days or so PLZ AND THANK YOU :)

@dragoprince89 tell him you want the top/crown and back of your head to be long, and fade down to the sides. a #2 is a good length for the sides. just ask him if he knows the mohawk style its sorta the same thing just has fades on the top and sides if you can bring a picture to better explain yourself.
