I beat the game on Hard recently, that armor and inner suit is ESSENTIAL, you only carry 6 RECOVERY ITEMS! The way i done it was beat it on normal with all dino files, to get the infinite ammo then do Hard, but when you're running to the consoles and don't have the Rocket launcher use the solid cannon and keep on shooting while running, the solid cannon pulses will be following you so that the giganotosaurus should flinch, and combo you less... once you get the armor it's like normal.

Nobody ever wondered how it was possible to call on a satellite, when there is no such things supposed to exist in a prehistoric era where the game is taking place ?

@Zuxilbaja Just a location was sent back in time, the rest of the world remained the same so the satellite worked properly.

@DocJoze What I understood is : Edward City and its neighborhood were sent back in time. So all around the city area was a thick jungle from another time. I think I got it right... Otherwise, the humans from there wouldn't have had to wait in the area forever, they could just have taken some luggage and go to New York for ex. --'

The intro movie says : "3rd energy incident : in place of Edward City, the world discovers a jungle from another time." => thus conversely, around E.C. is the past ;)

@DocJoze So, unless the humans from Edward City had launched a rocket with a satellite into space (possible, after all), for me there is a incoherence in the scenario.

@Zuxilbaja no no, the game was actually in the future, when humans seemingly died out and a similar environment from the prehistory existed. Other humans from the close future went forward in time so save the dinosaurs by placing them there (why i have no idea) but they were trapped in that time and died, except the children who were kept in capsules. During their stay they must have launched a satilite into space. Anyways, these people were in that time long before Edward city appeared there.

The part of the song at 0:25 sometimes pops into my head and I could never remember where it was from. It wouldn't really get stuck in my head, but the tune would just kind of jumped in out of nowhere, and for the life of me I had no idea where it was from. It bugged me for about a decade, until now. I remember this boss, the Giganotosaurus! I remember as a little kid reading about the discovery of this dinosaur in the newspaper, so I was shocked to find that they put it in the game.

Why? Damn, i wasn't only playing this game, i was living it, i embraced the story and felt i was inside that strange, jungle world.

I cried when i heard this song because these where the times where games lasted MONTHS, not days.

I remember PArasite EVe 2, and CAstlevania: SOTN as well...
