The intention of reparations is to help lift the black community up economically (closer to where us white people are), because generally speaking they do suffer from the after-effects of institutional racism. The social class of anyone's parents is a good predictor of what their own social class will be. I personally think that this money would be better spent on under-funded schools.

O'Reilly is the kind of "context" he speaks in such a way that we know his intent but when you question him on it, in context it could mean something else... but we know what he meant.
