  • the point is all authority is given to Jesus that is the issue for me whether he has the authority over mankind or not in my opinion he does

  • its not aquestion of using words like polteistic or whatever concept you choose to catagorise .The words God Lord etc are mere titles whether or not Jesus is God or the son of God is neither here nor there. Its the same as a father and son relationship they might both have the same surname etc but ae two different people

  • @themaccauk11 Theologically you are simply wrong. God the father, god the son and god the holy spirit are supposed to be one in the same being in three aspects. With you, I think they are separate beings, therefore Christianity is polytheistic. But they insist otherwise. The gospels have Jesus speaking to his father as if to a separate being. Yet some scriptures seem to say that Jesus IS god. To me it's all nonsense.

  • its all an illusion jesus said as soon as he left earth false teachers would take over

you all follow what others say to hav eyour ears tickled

not even jesus knows the day or hour only his father

  • @themaccauk11 So you admit that your religion is actually polytheistic? Jesus either IS god or he is not. If he is, then he certainly does know the day and the hour. If he is not, then to call him god or lord admits that he is a different entity. You can't have it both ways. Actually, the "mystery" of the trinity is so much nonsense. My grandfather (a preacher) called it a "uni-plural," a simple contradiction in terms.

  • @uhhh24 If you still believe that it's "prophecy" after more than 2000 years, you probably will believe "the check is in the mail" after twenty. Even the alleged Jesus thought the end would happen during the lifetime of the men who followed him around, and said so. All that some day crap came after Jesus was dead and gone, put out by Paul and the "gospel" writers. An unfulfilled, but imminent promise is great stuff for herding people.

  • @Largo64 Wrong. Jesus said when Israel became a nation again, that generation would not pass before seeing the end. That happened when, after 2,000 years, in 1948, Israel became a nation again. Read the Bible.

  • @uhhh24 YOU are wrong. Jesus was talking to his disciples, and telling them that some of THEM would not have died before everything came to pass. He said "some of you standing here..." In any context, you can't get any more specific than that. If you can twist those words that much, you can't be taken seriously at all.

  • @Largo64 KJV Mat 24:34. Read it. He describes the signs of the end times, then says "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." KJV Mat 24:34. The generation that sees all these things taking place will be the last generation. Twist that.

  • @uhhh24 There are two ways to take that. One is that the "this generation" he referred to was the one standing before him. You want to say it's some future generation. But if you are right about that, there is a clear contradiction - one of a multitude believers insist don't exist - because he said "some of YOU standing HERE." You want to ignore those THREE passages and misinterpret which generation he was referring to. Like most apologists, you want to have it both ways. Sorry, no sale.

  • @Largo64 Like most atheists, you only focused on that one verse. If you kept reading you would have read that 8 days later, Jesus took Peter, John and James to the mountain top to pray. A cloud engulfed them and God spoke to them proclaiming Jesus as His Son. "And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept [it] close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen." Luke 9:36. They saw the kingdom of God. Jesus told the truth.

  • @uhhh24

you cna quote as many scripturees as you like the true worshippers worship in spirit and truth and therefore once thye hav ethe truth and surrendered to jesus they no longer need anything else including knowledge the kingom is within

  • @uhhh24 What's next? You will now say that it was a prophecy of television? Those people have a lot of visions, don't they. Visions are convenient, too, because they have to be interpreted. Their vagueness gives a lot of wiggle room. A real prophecy would be that the state of Israel would be formed after a war in the year 1948. Names like Ben Gurion and Meir would have left no doubt. Visions are not prophecies. But they sure make it easy for "prophets" to bamboozle people, don't they!

  • Comment removed

  • @Largo64 Luke 9:27 KJV But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God. Peter, John and James all did.

  • @uhhh24 Good Job in proving him wrong!

  • @uhhh24

bros dont you realise atheism is a religion so atheists are religious they just deny the christ because they will not humble themselves

  • @themaccauk11 Someone once put it very well: atheism is a religion the same way that baldness is a hair color. You simply are wrong.

  • @Largo64 Show me where in the bible he says that

  • @OnlyJesus777 Where who says what? Could you be specific so I know what you are talking about. I covered a lot of ground in this video and the others.

  • @OnlyJesus777 Nevermind uhhh24 already proved the point

  • @Largo64

Jesus was talking in the spiritual sense the end of false religions hold on mankind

  • @Largo64

All prophecy must be fufilled before that day comes whatever the timescale is .I agree with those who say the the bible is fallible and contains many many variations and misinterpritations throughout history

  • @uhhh24 The point is that "signs and clues" have been cropping up for two millennia with no fulfillment. You Christians are like Charlie Brown, believing every time that THIS time Lucy won't pull the football away as he runs to kick it. You just never get it that the story won't change. It's only good to propel people as long as it never actually happens. Once that promise is fulfilled there will be no more need for priests or ministers, For that reason, the smart ones will never give a date.

  • @Largo64 All the prophesies in the Bible concerning the end times will happen just as written. Repent now and stop misleading people.

  • Before 2012 - Christians and Muslims will be well on the way to jointly developing this world; way into the distant future.

  • you know at this point I really just hope some shit like this happens Just as long as I manage to survive and a few hot chicks.

  • When I clicked onto this, the Views read 4666. I dont believe in coincidence.

I do blieve in the Lord Yeshua, the Messiah the son Of God. You may think that you dont and never will... But wether you believe now or when he calls you name to give an account at that time, you will believe just as I do. you will know that truth before your end. _ "But since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal life,"

  • @carpenter0909 Stunning, you didn't click in until 4665 others had done so. Thanks for the warning. I quake.

  • i love u so much u r so funny lol

  • Jack Van Impe, LOL!

  • ok my guess the link was causing it.

Anyhow as a neo-pagan. some non-neo-pagans asked me if my beliefs had a doomsday. i said none that i was aware of. at least not by modern pagans.

  • i have to agree on this video.

also i'm gonna make an additional comment as the last comment didn't take for some reason

  • 20+1+2= 23! :O

I watch too many movies.... x)

  • LOL

  • i thought our sun wasnt big enough to go supernova

  • You're right. I should have said nova. The sun will burn out at some point, but before it does it will swell to a size to envelop the inner planets. I'm not losing sleep over it, though.. ;<)

  • This is very refreshing to me. Thanx a bunch!

  • And thus shall it it come to pass that all life on earth shall die in 1,000,000,000 CE due to solar brightening.

All the land and earth shall thus be sundered by 7,500,000,000 CE due to thy swollen sol.

Ah scientific prophesy. Take that Nostradamus.

  • Sorry about the triple post one was reply that didn't go through due to a stupid youtube glitch. Anyway the sun CANNOT supernovae as it is to small to fuse carbon into anything. It'll just puff out into a planetary nebula.

As for the M dwarf star in the oort cloud that thing would be about as bright as a streetlamp in the distance. We'd be able to see it with the naked eye and it'd be one of the more bright stars around. I should know I study this kind of thing.

  • You can have Nostradamus prophecies as well, all you need to do is stare hard enough at a glazed object such as a bowl of water or a crystal ball for prolonged periods of time until you start seeing images.

  • You're welcome!

  • That was very entertaining, Largo.

I just wanted to thank you. Cheers.

  • I just wanted to thank you for your efforts. I have enjoyed your vids.

  • ronald weinland is the endtime prophet of god and you are foolish to not believe what he says. we are in the last 3 and one half years of mans rule and soon the eternal god will usher in his kingdom for the lord jesus christ to rule along with the 144,000 who are to be resurrected to reign with the lord of lords, the king of kings Jesus Christ

  • Haha. Idiot.

  • Largo you seem like a nice guy but are you realy willing to forfeit your soul to the world and its things? BTW Jesus loves!!

  • I don't believe I have a separate soul. When I die I will be exactly where I was before I was born . . . nowhere. And that's okay with me. It's the condition of all life. Why should I be different?

  • What about the Milky Way collision with the Andromeda galexy in 3 billion years. This will be before the burnout of the sun which is 5 billion years away.

  • I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Will you call me up just before it starts so I can watch? ;<)

  • It will be indeed but calculations have shown that all of 6 stars will slam into each other in this collision. I did not mistype this.....6.

However I know not if we'll be thrown out of the eliptical miandromeda galaxy.

  • Hey Largo, you forgot one of my favorite guys: Harold Camping. He wrote a book predicting the end in 1994 (from bible calculations, apparently), and then has continued to bump up the date. Currently, according to Wikipedia, he has it at 2011.

What makes him interesting is that he supposedly owns HUNDREDS of millions of dollars worth of radio stations (from which he broadcasts his bible studies). He seems to REALLY believe his stuff, too (i.e., he's not the typical huckster)!

  • Great stuff! As always... edifying. Ok so we know about religions and their common agendas...I know, and agree on so many things.

It would be interesting to hear some of your own 'personnal/spiritual' type views (as an alternative)... in the hope that people who, like us, are self-aware.. are not alone in what we believe/hypothesise to be right within ourselves, living within the surrounding psychology/propaganda of todays masses. That percentage of non-beleivers etc... is surprising!

  • I'm not hopeful about the future. While I don't believe in the end time visions of the bible, I think a final apocalyptic war is certainly possible. It isn't something that the ancients knew. Rather, it is something that moderns will cause to happen because of what some ancient zealots wrote. Israel doesn't exist because it was foreordained and known millennia ago, but because those ancient scriptures told modern Jews it was their due. The prophecies fulfilled themselves, because they are there.

  • I wouldn't say I have a "spiritual" view. I think that if people everywhere could shed their religions, look around them, and realize that the future of all depends on unity and co-operation, the world could be happy, healthy and free of war. But trying to break down religious dogma and the hate it generates is like spitting into the wind. A few of us keep trying, but without much hope. As long as there are "great" religions that disagree, and factions within them, there will always be strife.

  • Oh, THANKS for addressing the STUPID fucking 2012 shit! You can't go ANYWHERE on youtube without seeing some lunatic screaming about 2012.

  • both entertaining and edifying. Thanks. Very refreshing after all the doomsday religious vids ghoulishly predicting the end times with barely contained glee at the thought of all us atheists going to hell, unless of course we get saved now!

  • i really like ur vids they are very good, keep it up:)

  • Be careful not all prophets are frauds. As Jesus said, Gods prophets were all killed and they came to warn of his coming. John was beheaded. Prophets are here today and most importantly the prophecies of the Bible are coming to pass. The problem is differing views of Christs Millenium. Some believe Jesus will return before, middle or after the millenium. Its a touchy subject but no man should put dates on Christs return. We are though headed for serious times ahead.

  • It doesn't take a prophet to see tough times ahead. But the same thing could have been said in 1908. The Great War and WWII both were seen as signals of the tribulation, and neither was.

  • ALL prophets are frauds. If tehy could really predict the future they would have used their powers to prove that they know the future. I don't believe in a single one. You quote the bible which proves that you don't know what you're talking about since the bible is just as good as a predictor of the future as I am. Maybe even less so. I've made some predictions. I don't count on them comming true but if they do then... oh well I'll be out of the country before then anyway. XD. Prophets are BS!

  • Jesus was evidently a false prophet since he predicted the end of the Age for those of his own generation in Matthew's Gospel (see part 1of these videos). The Book of the Revelation is no better, for the Angel swore that "there will be no further delay". Thus the angel admits that even in ca. 120 AD (about the time of the Revelation), there had ALREADY been a delay - yet a further 1900 years have already passed SINCE then. Hence, it must be FALSE!

  • Becareful what you say psandbergnz, if you study and read the bible Jesus was not a false prophet, matter of fact he is your saviour, the lamb by which all sins are forgiving. Read it again without all the stupidness in your mind

  • Thank you so much for these videos. Ronald Wienland is a douche

  • Ronald Weinland is a con artist.

  • When someone says he is appointed by the god of Abraham to be the end-time prophet . . . you could be right!

  • Yeah but when he announced on April 17th 2008 that his wife Laura is the other end time prophet he screwed himself and flushed any credibility his church saw in him right down the toilet bowl.

The guy is a scammer, con artitst, insert your favorite word here.

  • I'm the Greatest Prophet

*There will be natural disasters that noodleheads will say was by divine entity.

*Noodleheads will predict 2012 end of time.

*Terrorists will blow up something-still get their ass kicked.

*The stock market will go up and down.

*I will never be able to lick my own balls.

  • The mayans do not believe the world is going to end but rather be reborn and move into the 5th sun and they also believed the begining of this sund was around the time you mentioned the do not however believe the world was created then. They believe the earth has undergone many makeovers which they refer to as suns and right now we are living in the 4th sun. The mayan calander is extremely accurate much more so than ours. They described the 9 planets and one more as if from a birds eye view.

  • Largo64:

A great set of well researched videos.

    Thanks for posting.

    5+

  • Thanks for you video! I was, until watching it, unaware of just how many people predicted the end! What a strange outlook on to have on the world. Anyhow, thanks again for taking the time to compile the facts, I shall be sending a link to this video to a few friends of mine who are too gullible for their own good!

  • Was Ronald Weiland a follower of Timothy Leary?

  • If you mean Weinland, I believe he was part of an offshoot of the Armstrong church, the Worldwide Church of God.

  • Yes, meant Wineland. I wonder if people will see an aberration of a cuckoo clock if his soon to be predictions are a no go. LOL , but none of us are 100% stable.

  • minus1882: I see you begin with a "Ha!" (although you didn't bother with the capitalization, an exclamation mark or even a period) It's typical of some people that they would derive satisfaction from being right even if it meant their own children would starve. What are you doing about it?

  • ha and you think its entertaining then we will see how entertaining it is when the time does come. housing woes, credit woes, and our debt is higher than ever and each day the dollar is growing weaker. even other countries are changeing there currency to euros. last rise of the roman empire was WW2 and the last rise which says in the bible will be the last.

  • well apparently you havent read ronald weinland book at all. he foretold this in 2006 he said in 2008 in april that the us dollar will fall. well signs are already backing him up. recently on 3-17-08 bear stein bank collapse this is just a small portion of what to come. he also says that in 2009 there wont be any new president. also he claims all religion is wrong!!!!! all. if you doubt him fine but atleast read his book then time will tell.

  • In 2006 a lot of astute observers could have made the same conclusion. The possibility, if not the likelihood is that very soon the people who now by treaty buy all their oil with American dollars may break those treaties and start using Euros. If that occurs those Americans who are old enough to remember may yearn for 1930 again. That is not a gift of prophecy. That's just watching the news. The "no new president" theme I have stated myself, ever since I was aware of Directive #51.

  • Great video, i like your neutral tone, so that you bring real information forward.

  • Nice work, I conincidentally did a vid on Weinland and noticed your vid linked up with mine. Good to see I'm not the only one calling these peoples bluff:-)

  • Thanks, it truly is nice to see videos with facts to back the claims up. Will continue to see some of your videos, and I am happy to see Americans that uses their 'top floor', it truly is a good variation from the usual videos.

    /A Sweed

  • Good vid I like your style :-)

I don't think the world will not end in 2012.

But may I have a little fun here with a prediction of my own... that around start of 2013 an incredible alien invasion will occur. Then Maitreya the 'Christ' will make an appearance to save the world. Sounds crazy, you bet!

    Best Regards

  • Whoops, typo, I meant to say

I don't think the world will end in 2012. It will continue business as usual...

    Peace

  • realy intrestin vid, great information.

i think the world is gona end in 10,000 years wen a star will move straight through our solar system, cant remember the starts name, but thats just a theory i herd LOL XD

  • Sorry about the "F" bombs. That's rare for me. But I can't abide bigots. They bring out the worst in me.

  • If you write a book it would be a NT Times best seller.

When Andy Rooney retires from 60 minutes you would make a splendid replacement.

  • That's nice of you, but when Rooney's gone, they'll probably just paste big eyebrows on some young guy. I'm already past retirement age. This is no time for a new career!

  • LOL ... and I was just going to ask you where I could sign up for the conspiracy. Love the series. Will you post more please?

  • On prophecy, probably not. But I'm working on a series on dominionism. That's going to take a while.

  • Flat out awesome. Thanks for posting these three videos. You have a voice and personality that would be awesome for tv. Now that I have subscribed to you, I will be watching your other videos. 5*

    Peace

  • I agree 100% with U..no comments..keep on the good job...and lets hope humanity wont kill itself b4 the sun does...lol

  • I know I'm not superstitious, but I'm not tying up any of my money until after December 21st, 2012- just in case those Mayans are right! ;)

  • Ahem... The fact that you aren't tying up any of your money kinda means you are superstitious...

  • *knocks wood*

    hehe! ;)

  • well just take in the fact that they were wrong about when the universe STARTED, so they are most likely wrong about when it will end. And you have to remember that they were the people who cut out hearts from living people as a sacrifice to the gods.

  • ever look at RaptureAlert or Prophezine [youtube channels] -they're a real hoot. The morons are dead serious, but note that RaptureAlert is done by RETIRED COP so is it any surprise that the bulb is a bit dim. OriginalHamster ridicules him in a recent video..

  • 8-17-23-24-36-44

    good luck

  • haha "see the link.." i don't know the 2012 christian thing i don't hold it to be true by the mayans. still, their other calculations were very genius Biologists think they are biochemists, Biochemists think they are Physical Chemists, Physical Chemists think they are Physicists, Physicists think they are Gods, And God thinks he is a Mathematician. {math rules}
  • Is it that guy who believes that the queen of England is a reptile?

  • My only criticism is that the sun will not go super nova. It's much too small. It will, however go nova. This will cause so much destruction that the earth will no longer be able to sustain life. There is a chance, depending on exactly how much the sun swells, that the earth will be physically destroyed. I would like to think that human beings would have escaped the earths fate, but I'm not sure that our descendants will still even be human in 5 billion years.

  • One may hope they will be better than human, that is to say more "humane."

  • Well said Larry.

I can relate to Theoretical physicist Michio Kaku speculations on the future of civilization. This 21st century is so important for Humanities future, only the right of all to be basically free enough to think for our-selves, become knowledgeably informed and then more united, can humanity survive our technological adolescence well, and blind-faith religions all jeopardize and hinder a more enlightened and humane future for all Humanity.

  • Jack Van Impe is the functional equivalent of a TV psychic. But I must confess a certain fondness for his wife Rexella. I don't know why I find her endearing, but I do. Weird, isn't it? Oh well. Good video, Largo.

  • I had heard of the 2012 theory bu it seems sad that we are more obsessed with the end of our world rather than making it better like you mention. No sleep lost here either.

  • Well one of these days somebody will make a prediction and it will be right. Then he can crow and strut telling us: "I TOLD YA SO!"

  • Nut is right!

  • Love the series. Awesome video.
