Zero is the source and commander of all Dark Matter (..Except Gooey, I guess.) and as long as it keeps showing up, it serves as proof that Zero is alive in some form or another. He may have stopped appearing because he'd already been beaten twice, and would rather risk the lives of his creations than his own fighting Kirby.

Man this was the first game I ever picked up and boy did I love it. it's funny even then I managed to get 100% and all I thought was EPIC! It's funny though I've noticed that many people are complaining about blood. I didn't even know that was blood at first. If you think about it, Kirby is the original Crados. He goes around ending everyone who gets in his way. Just more toned down.

They likely let it slide because to face either Zero or Zero Two, you have to get 100% completion in that game. A few of the Crystal Shards are nerve-wracking for even adult players to get, and most kids don't comprehend or care about 100% completions, so...

I had a nightmare about this boss one night. I closed my eyes for 3 seconds and opened them, he was floating a few feet away from me just staring at me. It was one of those dreams where you cant move (Sleep Paralysis). I tried to pretend he wasn't there and closed my eyes, but when I opened them again he was even closer than before, I did it again and he was in my face.
