If there was a court order in place all she had to do was talk to the authorites to say he was violating the court order by not letting her see the girls! And if she noticed the little girl was thin, why didn't she speak up and do something about it? cont'. my dad won't get into trouble! Twice she called, and both times they losed the case and told her to stop bothering them. I have to take my brother tomorrow to buy a jacket since it's december and it's freezing out. They lived without gas/electric in an abandoned home, in such a filth last winter, and still cps saw nothing wrong and closed the case, and in court they told my mom off because she was mean for calling them during the holidays. Kids die before people realize. So sad! :(

@omarlaylayoussef It looks like they were supposed to share custody. Getting an enforcement of custody hearing takes a long time in some areas. I have seen this type of custody case where one parent doesn't follow through with custody agreement. Took my friend 4 months to get a hearing. Thankfully, the judge gave the s.o.b. an stern warning: Follow the custody agreement or risk not having the kiddo at all and go to jail.

@TeMauriOra....hit the brakes, friends...didn't you read that the mom DID notice the lack of weight gain and was taking her daughter to the doc - - there was also some mention that the little girl had some kind of eating disorder where she didn't want to eat!

The only thing I'll agree with you on is if the little girl suddenly developed the eating disorder after going to live almost full time with dad and girlfriend...then, yes, THAT should have raised red flags with mom AND the pediatrician!
