  • Mormon ways arent for me, but they probably say Catholic ways arent for them so to each their own I guess. Not sure with Norwegians fondness for alcohol and lax rules regarding sex between non-married people plus tolerance of homosexuality if it's fertile fields for LDS missionary work - but suit yourselfs.

  • Norway!! THat is soooo cooooool!!!!!!! You are amazing!!!!! Way to go on serving the Lord!!! :D

  • Velkommen :-) Hope you get to go to Stavanger. I dont know when you downloaded your video so I dont know if you`re already in Norway. Men jeg vil ønske deg lykke til.

  • cool, my brother served in Norway.

    4000 members

    4,5 million inhabitans

and you use a plane for getting to zoneconference ;)

  • hey thats cool that you got your mission calling! congratulations! Teach and Teach the gospel over and over again to people... and many blessings will come to you and your family

  • Congratulations! It's so great to see that the CD they put in the computer randomly chose you to go to Norway.

  • Congratulations. I live in Moss, one hour drive from Oslo. It's not that cold, so relax. You'll have a hard time knocking on doors and stopping people in the streets though, as it is concidered extremely impolite to invade someones personal sphere over here. Also, Norway is one of the most secular nations on earth. But people are nice and have strong opinions on religion, so you'll have a great time. And look forward to may 17. :)

  • Oh, and if I may, this may perhaps be a bit nationalistic and all, but check it out:

The national anthem of Norway :D

If anyone have questions about Norway, be it personal questions, political, economical, relative to a misson, etc. let me know. I'm born and raised Norwegian LDS.

  • Thank you for your willingness to share your knowlege of Norway, I will pass that on to Amy. She is in the MTC now with four Elders, they are all very excited to be coming to Norway. Amy's Great Grandfather immigrated from Norway so she is especially thrilled. He was the mission pres. in Norway from 1955 -60.

  • Was it Dean Peterson? My grandmother was baptized in '59. =)

  • congratulations on your mission call!

    wear warm clothes =)

  • that is cool
