  • Good old days when people used to sing real music.... great song

  • Tracie still got me open.lol

  • happiness is over due love me the way that I love youuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • Beautiful song.. I was a big Tracie Spencer Fan.. I wonder what's up with her, she's still pretty young, only 34 years old. So maybe she'll grace us with her voice again.. :o)

  • I have been looking for this song forever because it always plays on the radio at my job and i never knew who sings the song! WHAT YEAR DID THIS COME OUT? HAS ANYBODY ELSE REMADE IT?

  • This takes me back to middle school Wow. I have not heard this in years.

  • This song pops into my mind ever so often. Beautiful song.

  • This Song Is Just Beautiful,Gorgeous Ballads Like this although not made anymore will never die.I Love this song Thank You for the Beautiful Music Ms. Spencer.

  • i still love this song

  • I remember "This House" and "Tender Kisses," but I'd totally forgotten about this song! I clicked on it because I wondered if I had heard it, and before long the melody came back to me...it's probably been 18 years or so since I've last heard it!

  • Yall aint never lied !!!!!!!this was the music .......i remember i was about `13

  • Only took me over a year to find this song on YT. How many songs have the same title? 300? It wasn't until I did a search for "Tender Kisses" I found out her name.

  • Wasn't there an extended version to this song - some type of remix??

  • LAWD I MISS THE 80s AND THE 90s! Sooo many memories!

  • The 4 people who dislike this video are morons

I used to have the biggest crush on her when I was a kid.....lol...This brings back memories when music was actually good.

  • shes only 32 now i never kne about her

  • tracie was underrated, how old is she here

  • love this...old school.....I have this on cassette!

  • @ mimi4sure, I asked that same question

  • @mechelet7 She does a lot of behind scene work

  • @Seventiesbaby33 , thanks for the info...she is truly missed by me. I just love her music and always wondered whatever happened to her. Good to know she's doing well..

  • @mechelet7 You're welcome

  • @mechelet7 She does behind the scene work

  • I Love this song.

  • damn i miss real music

  • I was obsessed with this woman, wow I do miss her so muuch, i wonder how she looks now.

  • i was obsessed with this song

  • Loved this song. On my old school CD. Right along with " I Like " and Subways " Let me be your fire". Miss these days. College years!!! LOL

  • so many love..love it!!!!

  • she had one of those unique voices. i think she sang in the wrong era she would have been more popular in the early 80's

  • Whatever happened to Ms Tracie? I remember when I first saw her on star search. The girl puts it down with the vocals. I also remember when she was also in the episode of Family Matters, singing with Eddie Winslow. Lots of memories. Come back Tracie. I loved all your songs.

  • Looove this song, cracking up at the video with the windows/ doors...

  • OMG this song will pull out like every emotion that you feel! That's the power of classic real music like this. I can't think of one tear-jerker song that young people are coming out with now..just a bunch of jerks is all you hear now, lol

  • damn im about the same age a tracie.. and i remember this video and when it came out i was generally amazed with the whole hip hop and R&B scene at the time . it was begining to really take off and i was such a rap and r&b fan back then.. music used to be so good!

  • I was 5 when this song came out?! And I remember this song/video...love it! lol

  • this is my favorite song luv u tracie

  • A Classic~

  • R&B isn't the same escobar60099.

  • this song is beautiful

r&B just isn't the same anymore *sighs* I miss the 90's

  • one of my favorite songs, gosh u gotta love those early 90's vid.

  • This is when I first moved out to Seattle from Colorado. But I remember hearing it in Colorado. Love this damn song!!!!!!! Love me.

  • I was 20 years old when this came out...my then boyfriend was standing on my porch and he was begging me to come back into his life...we stood on that porch almost two hours with this song playing over and over from his car...

  • OMG that sounds so beautiful...

  • It's almost like perfect, to have that song playing in the background

  • I was in the 10th grade when this song came out. They played it at the school dances all the time.

  • Gosh where is she seriously????

  • @mimi4sure She got a degree! And just stop singing pretty much. And the guy is Sugar ray leonard son in the video

  • I forgot all about this song! lol... I was in maybe the 1st grade....

  • always loved that song

  • this is not the album version i too have this CD and tape

  • This song was the shyt! I loved it then and still love it now.

  • I don't like this version. She's hitting unfamiliar notes. I need the radio edit.

  • This is the radio edit, this is the version I remember.

  • Oh No This Isn't.... This Is DEFINITELY Not the radio edit. I know that song like the back of my hand

  • No i'm pretty sure this is the radio edit because the album version didnt end with her saying "leave the world behind" and it was longer. I know this was the version I heard on the radio here in MIchigan.

  • The version i've always known sounded the same as the album version, Except it was edited to be shorter for the radio. Back then they had Radio Edits, Lp Versions and Versions that you would only hear on the music video. The version I remembered sounded exactly like the album version but edited to be shorter. Perhaps this is the "Radio Edit" but I never heard this version before. I couldn't even sing along while watching this video because some of the notes are different.

  • Oh really? I remember hearing the longer album and not liking it because I was so used to hearing this version. At any rate Tracie Spencer was talented. I wonder what she's doing now. I know she made a comeback CD a few years ago but after that I didnt hear any more music from her.

  • Agree, Im from Grand Rapids- Lansing and this version was on both of those cities radio stations alot back then when this came out.

  • Yeah this one was always on radio alot in 1992. This is one of my fav tracks of Tracie.

  • Awh Tracie Spencer and Shanice were the IT gorls back then!!! Man, how time flys!

  • Tracie Spencer was the bomb when she came out.

  • This is my jam! What? Tracie Spencer was doing it! Sangin' songs. Love it!

  • this reminds me of the dances in jr highschool. you had to find the finest guy and hope he would give you that dance and kiss!

  • just like the 80's the 90's some really good ballads. now adays, im sorry to say there isnt a whole lot out there. Im glad I appreciated songs back then. good song, lyrics & mening behind the concepts of songs

  • i love the concept of the black man lying down apparently about to die from lack of love and then the black woman saves him by giving him her love. i get the feeling today that in 2009 the black woman would rather let the black man die, then to give them their love if need be.

  • I second that notion. There is a minority of black women who would try to save the black men, but I think the majority would surrender a raised eyebrow and think twice about calling 9-1-1!

  • I feel you should love your mate as you do yourself doing no more harm to them than you would yourself. It has been my experience that that kind of love is rejected time and time again.

  • I have to disagree. I see the Black woman as a Black man's biggest fan. They love their men and rarely date outside of their race. Let's keep it real though. Brothas have blamed the White man for their problems and now they are blaming Black women for their failing to succeed in life and high divorce rates. Black men need to motivate themselves to reach higher goals and maybe then they will understand what it means to love once they have learned to love themselves.

  • @vwnclubb Interesting! Why do you feel that way? I know there are trifiling women out there these days but that is a bleak way of looking at a Black Woman's love. As a black woman, I love my black men. I feel that if a man any color truely loves a woman than it would show in his words, actions, and thoughts. Then his love would shine and any black woman would soak it up and be ready to dish out all that she has.

  • yes, I miss artist like Tracey Spencer also, if she came out with an album today, I would buy it in a second. The girl can blow one of the best voices I've ever heard, and to think she sound just like this when she was only like 11 or 12 years old. Female singers dont sound like this today! I love all her songs but this one is my favorite.

  • I miss artist like Tracie Spencer she was my most favorite of all time. I really miss hearing her voice!

  • cant lie .searching for her is like this piece right here . Im gonna find her . dough right . mind right . pimp game right . I miss you ma . I love you . r.i.p . Claudette bartlett . love you for ever . my mother.

  • what a voice!!! they don't make 'em like tracie no more

  • I had this song on tape and cried like a baby when it got caught in my tape player...

  • CLASSIC 90z song!

  • love this song. the vid is kinda creepy considering she was only 15-16.

  • Yeahh I Know This Sonq Is Madd Ode Old ..

  • This was a nice album all around from "Save Your Love" (1990) to "Love Me" (1992). she put out some nice tracks from the "Make The Difference" CD.

"Love Me" was by far my favorite, though from Ms Tracie Spencer. Georgous song. This was one of the "slow jam" songs they threw on at the house parties spring and summer of 1992. Of course I remixed the Long Version Vocal and Instrumental of this song and made it last about 10 minutes! lol They don't make them like this anymore.. good times.

  • She was 14 about to turn 15

  • I love Tracie Spencer! Good singing right here!

    -Stosa!

  • I used to loooove this!

  • love the video but it creeps me out that she was only 14 or so...

  • She was 16 at the time!

    -Stosa!

  • and...that doesn't creep you out???

  • Naw we are the same age I think it was way more fast than what it is today, you know wtih tthe whole grow'in up thing!

    -Stosa!

  • Nw what creeps me out in the look on her first album...it's I know thats creepy! She was my music girlfriend(LMAO ROFL) growing up!

    -Stosa!

  • just like monica with 'miss thang'...a strong voice

  • I think this beautiful powerful song could have touch Michael Jackson.....because he all he wanted to do is to give love...in song and be loved. RIP Michael....this song is for you.

  • Deep.. Wow (Teary Eyed)

  • Thank You : )

  • TRUE CLASSIC!...reminds me of my 1st love...

  • such a beautiful beautiful melody !!

  • Oh my god this takes me back. I'm glad I was introduced to real music in that era. That kind of smooth vibe is something most song writers can't seem to capture anymore. It seems like it slipped evolved and slipped away as the decade passed.

  • The song was produced by Fil Brown and Tony Robinson

  • Song has Baby Face all over it! His production style is unmistakable

  • Where is Traci? This girl could blow, wonder where she is now?

  • Comment removed

  • Wow! I remember I had this cassette when I was 13! I loved this whole album! I'm going to put this on my Ipod.

  • such a positive image of black men also portrayed in this video.

  • Such a shame that R&B Music doesn't sound like this anymore.

  • I second that! Big Time!

  • Understatement of the century :(

  • Tracie has an amazing voice!

  • Such a Beautiful Voice..............

  • damn this is nice , i might have to go search for this at my local record retailer..!!!

i need this on my mp3

  • I alwayz liked her music and this is one reason why.lol

Btw- she looks real good, time has done her none.

  • ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL both song and video.

  • this song was the best back in da day n still is!!!!!

  • I love you Tracie Spencer so much and I love this song too

I dont know what Ill do without YouTube

  • What she singing about....I wish love was like that at all times.

  • Love this type of music. Tracie spoke the words of fantasy. That's why she is still one of my favorites.

  • you see this artist kept her nose scandel free ,young singers already have scandel before the songs hit the air waves, riahnna, you could learn a thing or two from this artist!!

  • her vids are so simply yet elegant for their time...its a beautiful thing

  • I wonder what she look like now!!!

  • i love this song..... i remember this love song

  • I love you Tracie .

  • this was the shit the dude in the video is sugar ray jr. lol

  • How old was tracie in this video and hide and seek?

  • She was 15 when she sung this song. I imagine the video came out shorty after. She was 14 when she sung Tender Kisses. It's hard to believe that now after all these yrs she is only 30.

  • her best ballad

  • I agree... Song these days are full of sex and meaningless words.

  • This song has help me out in relationships. I miss music like this. She spoke the truth.

  • this song played the first time i got my heart broke i think i cried for a week straight

  • this is the best shower song eva!! i still sing this to this day

  • This girl REALLY made some good music! Wish she and others during this time would come back.

  • YES she did, this was very soothing song.

  • jerseydime10 I agree she made some good music. There is something watered down in the emotions of today's music. Love doesn't mean that much in the music of today. I wish there was a tutorial for R&B singers today and they could just take the 90's , 80's & the 70's and let them just listen and understand wha the music is supposed to sound like and the emotions you have to pour. You have to strip to the bare for emotions like this.

  • It's all about the money these days. So sad isn't it? She was only 14 almost 15 when this came out. Geez! That 1 yr younger than my daughter who thinks Mariah Carey is the greatest. Sooooo uneduacated as to what real music is.

  • 2nd2nonebutmyself The sad part of the problem I see is that the industry is flooded with people that, for the most part, can sing but they are afraid to sing from the heart. We have songs that are written for them or by them that just barely scratch the surface of emotions behind the music. I will say it again, there needs to b a class for singing a song with full emotions. Songs need to come from a place that the singer (or writer) & that special person to them can dwell but allows us to visit.

  • mariah is one of the greatest

  • kekecrumedy Mariah is good but she is a pop-R&B diva. But she is not a R&B queen like the likes of Whitney, Patti, Roberta and such. This song is a testament to the true feelings of real r&b music. If you take the time to listen to 90's r&b and compare it to today's "so-called r&b" the 90's would stomp it out. Why do you think so many of the older singers music is being sampled by today's artist? You don't see people re-doing Mariah's songs.

  • maybe you need to go back and read what I said.I was just saying that she is one of the greatest singers.I didn't say anything about her being R&B-pop.

  • kekecrumedy, singers MAYBE but she is still a R&B-Pop diva. I read what you said and all you said was she is one of the greatest. Greatest what? So I said she is not truly one of the greatest when it goes to R&B...that is just my opinion. And you have yours. Leave it there.Internet arguing is soooo 2008.

  • OMG I almost cringed when you mentioned Whitney and Patti in the same sentence. But then I realized Whitney did have a voice before Bobby and all the drugs. Hmmm? Wonder what she is doing now?

  • 2nd2nonebutmyself she is supposedly working on a new album.

  • Do you remember the tv show "Being Bobby Brown" on VH1 (I think). I actually liked that show. Too bad Bobby had to think he was larger than life and wanted too much money to renew the show for a second season. Reality tv is so yesterday, but I would love to see VH1s "Where Are They Now" or "VH1 Behind the Music" again.

  • wilnout6453 not that i'm being smart or anything cause what you're saying is very interesting, but i have to disagree and say Whitney, Patti, and Roberta didn't just excel on the r&b charts, but the pop charts as well which makes them all pop-r&b divas and versatile musically

  • you r so rite!!!!!!!!

  • She is... but with a voice like hers she shouldn't have to use sex to sell records.

  • Preach it 2nd2nonebutmyself.

  • How come they don't make videos like this anymore?

  • Sunitamadan that is an easy question to answer. The reason they don't make videos like this is because they don't make music like this anymore.

  • That is true. Don't you just miss those good old days. Music was really soulful..

  • Sunitamadan, I really do miss soulful music....this watered down crap out now is tired.

  • Folks, this moving video makes a point: Don't we all deserve to be LOVED? HAPPY?

  • This song makes me sad because it is about unrequited love.

  • Like many others, I've been waiting for this video, too. Easily one of my favorite songs and added it to my Favorites.

  • This one gives me chills

  • i was like 10 when this hit! damn i loved this song. still do. although at the time i didnt know jack about love!

  • Is is safe to say that Tracie Spencer music is truly moving it touch real deep inside, wooo!

    -StoicUNO!

  • Such a sad song.

  • MAN!!!!!Love her voice and her range.....and this song & video so much moved me to tears during & after. It'll make you go through a box of kleenex.

  • This is definitely one of those songs Billy Ocean sang about in his #1 hit 'There'll Be Sad Songs (To Make You Cry)'

  • Whats up with Tracie Spencer? havent heard anything from her in yrs

  • No, I want the window!

  • Hey! I wanna shirt with a door on it!

  • LMAO!!! Did all the vidoes of the 80's use the slo-mo technology? This was a great song...it could probably sell now...this and "Hide and seek" I was feelin her. Great music!

  • Thats Sugar ray Leonards son LOL, but she fine

  • i had forgotten all about this song. wow. tracie was niiiiiiice. she should come out with something new soon although i'm sure it won't be the same...this was good music.

  • I love this song! music dosen't sound like this now
