Heating pads DO NOT kill corn snakes. Trust me they deffinetly need them or they'd go cold. turn the heating lamp off at the hottest part of day an leave it off for 3 hours or till you need to turn it back on.
I have a corn snake im new at it. I have a Q about the lighting does it always have to be on because it gets hot and I dont want it to start a fire or something. And i got a lamp from Pet-Co, its called Flucker's Clamp-lamp (5.5" metal repllector with 6" cord. Rated 75 watt/ 120 volts) and i know the name is kinda bad but thats what its called.
AND I READ some whare that if you have a heating pad it can kill the snake if it burrls can some one please help me!
