God's word clearly tells us in Psalm 112: 3 " Wealth and riches will be in the house of the righteous", i remember a while back when God blessed me financially i was sharing with a person what God did and this person answered " so your rich now? and a religious thought came up and i said " i'm blessed" because i didnt want to say yes i'm rich but the Holy Spirit rebuked me so hard and said "yes you are rich!", being rich is good, God says in His word " all the gold, all the silver is Mine"..

When Jesus spoke, he spoke in PARABLES so the world could receive it. He did not come to save the saved, He came to save the lost. Ans as for anyone how has a problem with the song and it being Gospel crossing over into Hip Hop and R&B I think it was wonderful for them to open those doors. There are so many people in the world going throught all kind of trials & tribulations and don't know how to relate to traditional Christian music. And if this helps bring people closer to God who are you to judge the means of how they got there if the outcome is positivity. RELAX! Im sure God wouldn't want you hindering his followers.
One of my favorite all time gospel songs. Yes, its very R&B but it reached a lot of people that look over gospel. This is one song that led me back to church. Love it.

And as for judging you, yes I'm judging you because in scriptures it teaches to judge those who are not doing what they're suppose to be doing as followers of Christ. Ans as for anyone how has a problem with the song and it being Gospel crossing over into Hip Hop and R&B I think it was wonderful for them to open those doors. There are so many people in the world going throught all kind of trials & tribulations and don't know how to relate to traditional Christian music. And as for judging you, yes I'm judging you because in scriptures it teaches to judge those who are not doing what they're suppose to be doing as followers of Christ. I've heard so many Christians use "not judging" as their excuse. As believers in Christ, we are to rebuke those who are wrong and put them back in the narrow path. Read Proverbs 27:5.

But I saw it as a lot of times we don't realize that some of these people who make bank and that go all out w/ clothes and etc. etc. that they give all the glory to God you know..? You think that they just have all these friends and money and life is good.. end of story! But they're showing another side to it.. that for some ppl.. there's a lot of prayer and praise goin on and they humbly count their blessings.. and not to be fooled by the facade of things.

Mary, Mary has made many songs which present the gospel and bless others, but in Christian love I fear that this song is misrepresenting the gospel. I used to play this song around Christian youth, but I am beginning to question the theology; not as a knit picker, but a Christian in love who cares about MAry Mary and wants the Word of God above all to be preached. So even tho the song is saying that my material possessions are blessings from God and ppl dont see my prayer life and struggles, its still a worldly song because they are tlaking about material things??? So if God made me a millionaire, how should I respond to that? Do I accept it, or in fear that someone may be offended I should not utilize my new position to benefit the kingdom/body of Christ?

their point is to try to make being with God appealing. when people think aboiut christians they picture grannys and annoying old people preach n to them. but this is showing that that if you follow God he will bless you and when you have God you are visibly happier and morelight than you were before bc people can sense thatb peace you hae about you. yes your body can live without God but your soul cannot be nourished without him.

Really listen to the lyrics, and really watch the videos, and the company they keep. Now search the scriptures to the Holy Bible, and then infer for self if these witnesses are true or not. I can't judge the Mary Mary, but one thing I know: the bible declares that the door to eternal life is narrow and that wide is the door which leads to destruction, let us watch out for our lives, it is time to get every chance to serve the LORD, and not to fill our ears with songs and other things which say exactly nothing. Of course, this is for me too, I like the beat of the song. Remember, that GOD has to be praised.
