@penangshah as long as you keep back up of database and keep copy of wp-content folder you do not loose any of your contents.

@gbpcentral sir, after doing all the things here. i am now having "Error establishing a database connection". do you have any idea why this happens.

@lewserkeym Check your wp-config.php file and see if you have right settings that is database name,database user name and password. if that all fine check with your host what you need to use as host as some servers do not use localhost.
