OMG!!!! I have been searching for something......ANYTHING from this album since I heard it ONCE back in '77. The Gizmo made some awesome sounds, and I remember getting very high and very into the whole concept. Thank you forever for your posts!!!!!
Thanks for all replies. I've been looking for this album on CD for years, and was told within the past year at my local HMV store that Polydor had no intention of releasing the original whole album on CD! Shows what they know!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers & thanks again, Terry
I wish the whole album was available on CD Come on Polydor, what are you playing at?? This is by far the best concept album ever made, why are you failing the world by not releasing the original album exactly as it was on CD?

Heartily agree - but 'Consequences' was a triple album - with box and book (it took a book to explain the idea behind the triple album) ... think it would have been easier and less expensive/hassle making a film with Monty Python/Terry Gilliam (they could have shared the drugs) lol. True geniuses ... WAY ahead of their time
@FoolOfGods i have the original album on vynal, complete with the book as you say, i bought one of those turntables that allow you to put your vynal, now i have it on my i pod many thanks
@j355icadog Great peice of kit those USB turntables. The triple LP/cassette was way better than that 'butchered' Polydor release - "Excerpts from 'Consequences" which was at best a 'Highlights from ... Pity that despite rumours still no sign of any remastered double CD. Don't think Kev and Lol are doing much together - the highly commendable GG06 was last new music was from Kev + Graham. Liked the slide show, very apt
@FoolOfGods are you into wax as well by any chance, also any history on gouldman, i have met him at strawberry,i used to be a session drummer, many thanks ??
@j355icadog - thanks. Was a big Andrew Gold fan before 'Wax' which was, to me, where 10CC needed to go next ! For my sins I sometimes supplied 'groaning-noises' for various Rough Trade outfits, frequented 'Blitz' (we hung around the fringes of the dance floor, at this point I was radio station record library by day (where I 1st encountered Wax promos) - 'page filler' scribbler for 'i-D' (and/or was it 'Face') as the great and sadly missed 'Lulu' (Luciana Martinez) held court. Life was sweet .
I can imagine the Mighty Boosh making a movie based on this!

Yes, the official name was Gizmotron. But everyone including Godley and Creme called it Gizmo. They even had a song (as 10cc) called Gizmo My Way!
