  • 170 pounds is actually 77kilograms.

  • I refuse to properly learn any system lol

  • metrics make so much sense, imperial was just for back in the day when u had to measure shit usin ur hands, americans are idiots for still usin it. also mc lars is pretty good but this song is a truly awful cover of atom an his package

  • Lol "this song is cool"

  • Awesome! I have no idea why people stick to imperial. How much easier can units of 10 be?

  • @Tintalasia Infinitely more, because our number system is based off of 10!! Yet we insist that we stick to difficult measurements out of lazy inability to bother switching!! It took me YEARS to understand the imperial system, but I learned the Metric system in a day....

  • i'm not sure if i like the original, or this one more. they're both so good.

  • Its "smarts and metrics" not "sports."

  • was unaware that MC lars did a cover of Atom and his Package. Kinda cool

  • haha a song about the metric system

  • a decaliter is 2.6 freaking gallons!?!

  • yard sticks are pathetic!

  • it's too strange that U.S still use the other system of measurement .. metric is the best .. even ill-educated people can use it efficiently in everyday life

  • NO THIS GUYS A POSER THIS SONG IS BY ATOM AND HIS PACKAGE! LISTEN TO REAL MUSIC

  • @cheseeproductions

Yeah, because we all know there's no such thing as covering a song that you appreciate, yup, total poser alright.

You're a fag and probably too dumb to realize I was using sarcasm.

And by fag I don't mean somebody who sticks a dick in his mouth I mean somebody who acts like a douche bag..believe it or not there's a diff.

  • *be laid to history

    not relate.

  • very cool cover

  • This is so inferior to Atom and His Package it's ridiculous.

  • Hey Andrew, mother fucker !!! Where are you april 24 !!! Please answer i'm always wait you !!! I just tell you cause i just like your song !!

  • I like the Imperial system... it is arcane and requires intelligent thought. ANd learning.

  • 12 inch foot / antiquated ass? what the hell, that's horrible.

  • I swear I hear Atom in the chorus......

  • Haha, It is Atom!

  • I like both versions...

  • ive listened to the original version of this by atom and his package and tbh it really is bad this version is immense and tbh its 20x beter than the other one and MC lars is like the best ever

  • This version fucking blows.

  • no this one is fucking awesome and the one by atom and his package is SHITE

  • Nah, this one is pretty terrible. I even like MC Lars, but this is just... There is no power behind it. It seems so half-hearted. Atom's version is great because it actually sounds like he's angry at the lack of the metric system... It adds to the humor.

  • but itss soooooo out of tune its terrible lol

just so you know i have nothing against you i just hate that song and i dont see how peop[le like it lol

  • Because omg, music has to be perfect and in tune all of the time to qualify as good.

  • True ...

  • I like the original version better. But this is a half decent cover at least.

  • think its:

The English system of measurement must be laid to history -- as in to get rid of it

  • Why you think we still have it? We don't want to conform to the rest of the world... we are an independent nation not influenced by other countries

  • @PhearDaR34per You mean except the country that came up with the system of measurement that we use?

  • Actually you still have it because your country is ran by elderly rich men with a sense of entitlement who think they are too busy doing "important" things to actually learn for once, whilst the non senile people in the room know it's best not to argue, because senator chucklefuck wets himself if he gets too excited and nobody wants to change adult diapers.

  • The entire US scientific community uses metric. Imperial sucks, and if you aren't influenced by other countries why are you using the BRITISH system of measurement?

  • @PhearDaR34per Decimalisation based on one of your units like the foot or inch, "kiloyards", "kiloinches" etc could work, but the cost of getting everyone used to an almost entirely new system (gallons and pints lost, a cubic foot is ~7.5 US gal or ~60 US pt (28.3 L) as well as weight...), you may as well just use m, L and g like 95% of the world. The 100% metric approach also helps avoid errors like companies converting units, the NASA unit disaster over unit confusion being a good example.

  • hahaha awesome cover

  • no irony, but it's a cover of atom and his package.

  • ... not to be contradictory, but the English use the imperial system about as much as we use metrics.

So basically metrics just means we have to memorize all these different conversions. The other European countries use metrics more-

using kmpm instead of the British mph.

  • Yeah, but metrics are much easier than imperials. I have no idea how to do imperials. I'm British, by the way.

  • @Elilie101 I can do both imperial and metric. t.t Hurray for being American and holding on to what Momma-England threw out?

Most people still tend to do height in feet, though. (Or so I've noticed in english-speaking countries... So that statement may not be completely true.)

  • Also, where it says "deciliter" in the lyrics, it should say "decaliter". A deciliter is a tenth of a liter. A decaliter is ten liters. :P

  • Haha that's what i thought it said, but for all the lyrics I looked up for the song it said deciliter, but I'll change it cause it makes more sense haha

  • So, come drink 10 litres with me?

  • @BunyipAndler either amount is crazy...10 liters? Really? plus he says decaliter, just he must have a lisp of something because it can seem like he's saying either

  • @BunyipAndler Actually it's Dekaliter.

  • @Tanthen decalitre Only if you're in the USA, Tanthen. From the Oxford dictionary:

decalitre (United States decaliter, dekaliter) (abbreviation: dal; United States also dkl)

n noun a metric unit of capacity, equal to 10 litres.

  • It's "antiquated" where the "?" is in the lyrics.

I love this song so much.

  • Haha thanks!

  • No problem!

  • we want metrics we want them know

  • what is this fuckery

  • btw, great cover. Atom & His Package will be missed.

  • This song is awesome! Metrics rule!

    (BTW: First)
