This was a great version of Bad thanx for sharing it's nice to see Bono fresh on stage performances and can really see in his eyes that he believes in what he is singing that it's pouring from his heart. look what a u2 gig was like at that time. today you get less than half the excitement and energy from the audience. u2 s music is not the problem, nowadays all people do at gigs is get out there f***ing cellphones to make pics or vids to share them on facebook or whereever and no one freaks out anymore or loses him/herself to the music like then. When I visit amazing places in the Western US, I tend to not take pictures, because ultimately, you can't capture the feeling or the experience of it thru a visual image. Who made you King of U2 concerts? Did you ever stop to think that people might want something to remember after paying 500 f#$king dollars for a god damn concert ticket? I saw them in 1987 on Joshua Tree tour for 26 bucks with decent seats when I was 12 years old and then in 1993 at Dodger Stadium for 48 bucks in the nose bleeds. I could care less about the other fans. I just don't want to get ass raped in the wallet to hear someone sing who can't hit the notes anymore.

The Edge makes the sound with that unique repetitive sound and Bono sells it with great style. This song believe it . . was the song most often heard by the soldiers in Iraq 2003-2010 for some reason ( i think the older guys really dig it) at least by my ears. Yes we do have music out there and so it bears repeating. Bad by U2 is simply a great cut . . . really dig the Live Aid '85 performance of it. Rock on.

I was in my 20ies back then and can't believe how intense the concerts were those days. Sigh. Maybe BECAUSE I was in my 20ies.. (Same as the U2 members. btw) JT was new, it was right in your face and it was beyond belief. I was not at Croke thoug, went to both concerts in Rotterdam, Cologne, Paris and Brussels..
