Yes, he broke the story, for reals. Michael Isikoff at 'Newsweek' wrote an expose about the Lewinsky affair, but the editors spiked it. Someone in the newsroom leaked it to Drudge, who had enough of a following even then to shine a light on the cover up. Matt isn't embellishing at all about his role.
