The cameraman was very concerned and felt helpless. He said he can barely look at this without feeling bad, he then was glad when the collapsed dog moved. There was a massive natural disaster and the animals were separated from their family According to the article someone mentioned below the dogs were taken to safety by two people on bikes. The injured dog was taken to a veterinary hospital and the other to a shelter. When they found the collars on the dogs rescue workers were able to help get the two dogs back to their family.

Fortunately the dogs were saved and given medical care. However, I agree that the reporters/film crew were a bunch of wankers for staring so long. Par for the course.

People don't realize that there is nothing these reporters could do. If you followed up on the story they actually called for professional help. It's pretty obvious that the dog is hostile towards the reporters and won't let them approach their friends so what are they supposed to do? Push the dog aside and try to lift it risking putting the dog in pain? Think! They called for professional help, go read it.
Just shows you how loyal dogs are. But what makes me upset is how no one went up to the dogs and told them that they were ok,they didn't pet them or give them any reassuring affection. I hope the dogs were given a new home. This video breaks my heart and stitches it back up
Im so happy to know that they where reunited with their "owners" (I prefer calling them family because I also have 2 dogs and they are really good company).
Yes, around a week after the coverage a group of Italian animal rescue members went to Japan to search for them and they asked around in the station that broadcasted the report and discovered that they where picked up (after concluding the report) and where taken to a vet hospital where the family found and took them to the temporary shelter they where living in.
Of course the rescue members stayed in Japan several weeks later to search for other posible animal victims.

I just don't believe in a big man sitting in the sky judging me, it would be impossible for that man to just appear, he would need parents, a species, a planet. It would be nice if there was a heaven, but it is highly unlikely. @superflymonkey100 The dog was really scared and wouldn't let the reporter closer because he was protecting the other dog. But I think they did save the dog. I really hope.
Plus he says I really hope they rescue them soon. So they probably couldn't themselves and hopefully called the military or somebody who has the ability to do so.
Both dogs eventually received care and are still alive. I truly hope they didn't separate those dogs in the shelter though. I hope if they find a home they get to stick together. How can you separate something so special.
@clsyy you cant really approach animals in such a state of fear unless well trained to handle them, otherwise you might just have 2 injured dogs and humans on your hand and no one to call for help, or more help would have been needed for the 2 newly injured(something that was limited), the correct procedure is to call out for for experts and not to let emotions get in the way of doing whats best. Though if you read the description you will see that the dogs eventually got the help they needed.
Maybe because they are reporters and aren't trained to handle animals? They don't know how the dog would react to the reporters getting so close to his/her friend. For all we know they could have been attacked by the dog because the dog doesn't know how is trying to help him/her.
@clsyy Those poor little doggies were tired cold and beaten down. They needed warmth and food and petting right away. I rescued a little dog from being chased by a much bigger dog. He ran away and right into traffic and got hit by a car wheel. He was afraid and shaking like the dog in this video, but he was too exhausted to resist when I took him to a vet. As SOON as I laid him down in my back seat, he fell asleep. For all he knew, I was about to kill him. That's how exhausted he was.

Im so happy to know that they where reunited with their "owners" (I prefer calling them family because I also have 2 dogs and they are really good company).

Yes, around a week after the coverage a group of Italian animal rescue members went to Japan to search for them and they asked around in the station that broadcasted the report and discovered that they where picked up (after concluding the report) and where taken to a vet hospital where the family found and took them to the temporary shelter they where living in.
Of course the rescue members stayed in Japan several weeks later to search for other posible animal victims.

@Dia457 What God may offer for my future?. I just don't believe in a big man sitting in the sky judging me, it would be impossible for that man to just appear, he would need parents, a species, a planet. It would be nice if there was a heaven, but it is highly unlikely. Religion is simply something to believe in when you don't know the answer, unfortunately people seem to adopt religion even when provided with an answer.

@TheLahness I see, and trust me I understand your opinion, I used to think that way too, but, I first of all wanted to stick to your opinion about the bible and how you don't trust it because it was written by several men and etc.. true it was written by men but they wouldn't write down what would come to their head, they would write what God told them to, for example, a boss puts his secretary to write a letter for his workers, the secretary isn't writting her own thoughts but her bosses.

True honest men would write what god said, but how do we if they were true honest men? How do we know if they were power hungry? @TheLahness It's the same with the bible, the bible was wrote by men that had received information and orders from God, nothing from their own head, here's an example: Job 26:7 saids in part, "hanging the earth upon nothing" in other words he was saying that the earth was in mid air, how would Job have known that without any technology or space craft to go up into space and see himself, some people used to belive that earth was flat, others thought that an elephant was holding the planet...

The fact is, the universe and Earth itself are so infinite I right now could say "I predict a tower will fall by the hands of an evil man" and in 200 or 2000 years time a terrorist could blow up a tall building and then everyone would scream at my prediction as religious.

The injured dog received medical care and the uninjured dog is now in a shelter.
These 2 dogs belong together now and hopefully their owners are still alive and can claim them if not I hope that they find good homes

Both dogs eventually received care and are still alive. I truly hope they didn't separate those dogs in the shelter though. I hope if they find a home they get to stick together. How can you separate something so special.

@clsyy you cant really approach animals in such a state of fear unless well trained to handle them, otherwise you might just have 2 injured dogs and humans on your hand and no one to call for help, or more help would have been needed for the 2 newly injured(something that was limited), the correct procedure is to call out for for experts and not to let emotions get in the way of doing whats best. Though if you read the description you will see that the dogs eventually got the help they needed.

Maybe because they are reporters and aren't trained to handle animals? They don't know how the dog would react to the reporters getting so close to his/her friend. For all we know they could have been attacked by the dog because the dog doesn't know how is trying to help him/her.

@clsyy Those poor little doggies were tired cold and beaten down. They needed warmth and food and petting right away. I rescued a little dog from being chased by a much bigger dog. He ran away and right into traffic and got hit by a car wheel. He was afraid and shaking like the dog in this video, but he was too exhausted to resist when I took him to a vet. As SOON as I laid him down in my back seat, he fell asleep. For all he knew, I was about to kill him. That's how exhausted he was.
